Next Roadmap

How do you think that today's roadmap will look like

 

Hopefully, Sam managed to sort this stuff out in the two weeks from the latest "roadmap" article. I'm afraid another post telling us that the roadmap isn't ready yet won't quite cut it. And I do appreciate the sentiment behind last week's post, the roadmap had become unreliable, but I can't believe they wouldn't have been able to make it work in a month.

 

Will we finally see some new DLC appear on the roadmap, or shouldn't we get our hopes up? :P

Really hoping we’re going to the see the 465 released on Thursday Will that be confirmed/scotched tonight?

 

I don't think it will be relesed thursday because they said that there wil be two livestreams on the 465 and this week we have just one

 

Well remember the odds on the last roadmap stream were 90% that we would get at least one new piece of DLC this week. So fingers crossed.

 

I've been keeping my fingers crossed since Christmas. Didn't help much so far. :P

 

First stream is this Thursday so I would say more likely to be next Thurs for actual release

 

I thought they don’t normally do pre-release streams for loco DLC, so there’s still a chance (and I’m clinging to it ) that it’ll be released on the same day as the stream. Hopefully.

 

For it to be reliable it will need to be sparse and more generic. All the headlines but not so much nitty gritty detail, pretty much as we’ve been told it will be. As an antidote to the new stripped down format possibly being poorly received it will contain some new DLC announcements. A few DLC will be flying off the top of the list soon as they are released so it’s definitely time for some new stuff to make an entrance. See you all later for the reaction thread!

Whatever date the 465 is releasing, they don’t reveal dates on the roadmap.

 

The 465 will not be released this Thursday, this will a pre-stream like they always do. I suspect it will be released in early March followed by Clinchfield then Arosa

 

I’m fairly sure they don’t pre-stream loco DLCs though. That’s what made me think that maybe Thursday would be the day. Whether it is or not, I’m really looking forward to this one!

 

I guess we will just have wait and see I too am really looking forward to this. But if I heard Natalie correct when she ran her challenge on Friday she mentioned they would be pre-streaming the 465 before it's released..

I think it's release is Thursday because they didn't write something like "First look" like they usually do when it's a pre-stream.Have they ever done a pre-stream just for a loco dlc?

 

I know the next UK route is going to be months away, but do folks think this will be on the roadmap today? I guess it would be the most interesting thing for most of us (UK route fans, that is).

 

You don't get preview streams for locos/trains. They just get released with a look what we've released today. It's being shown on Thursday which is the normal release day for DLC, just look at the TSC Class 60 that was released recently, announced on a Tuesday, released on the Thursday with the first stream it appeared on being it's "Look at this Class 60 release".

 

Hoping we get the info on all the new routes for this year. Sam mentioned he was hopeful it would be released by 2 roadmaps timeframe. 2nd of those roadmaps is today

 

They've stated on numerous streams now that the class 465 Networker will have a preview stream (this Thursday) and a release stream so it definitely won't be released on Thursday.

 

This will be a preview stream of the 465 on Thursday

 

Agreed this will be a preview stream release is likely to be next week.

 

This roadmap will be very interesting! I wonder if we will get fireworks as we did a fortnight ago!

if the release of the 465 would be Next week if would be prop matt and sam streaming on thursday but its not

 

No I am not a part of DTG inner circle but I remember Natalie saying on Friday during or after she completed her challenge that this was a preview stream not a release stream.

 

OK then. Well we will just have to see.

465 shown as next arrival, so will be interesting to see how this plays out!

More seriously a "clear" roadmap and the Clinchfield in top 1 ?!

 

Arosa is in the production section but it's the banner of the roadmap?! why not use the 465? Kinda mislead by that tbh

 

We have a new route Glasgow Cathcart Circle

 

Yup I guess will have to wait and see

 

I will be interested to see which period the Cathcart Circle line is set in. I would love to see it with the class 303 but I won't get my hopes up!

It looks like the class 313 is some way off yet.

 

Looks like we're getting a proper '38 stock too which will be interesting.

Agreed the roadmap does look better now probably could use a little more tweaking.

 

Does each section have a rough timescale attached to it or are they open ended?

This roadmap is very "clean", we understand everything at once.
The Clinchfield is coming very soon !!!

It's probably open ended as they do not want to set times or dates as things can change at a moments notice.

 

I'm just saying but what will we be able to do with the new 1938 stock railtours on the Bakerloo?

 

Thought so, fair enough though. If they missed a nominal time window sadly the pitchforks would be out!

 

What will be the difference in the 1938 stock compared to the IOW version?

 

A different livery and it will be longer
