Hey, I know loads of people have done a poll like this, but I wanted to do one with a load of routes I gathered from other people.
For me, most of those in the list depends the timeframe of the route I’d love to see 86s and 87s on the WCML hauling parcels, freight and passengers
Would love that WCML comes for TSW, but i choose the Manchester Metrolink on the poll, because i believe that the game can be improved more, like route extensions, or the possibility to start the service on one route and finish in other, something like cross dlc.
My own suggestions of course (Köln-Wuppertal and Enschede-Amersfoort). Some of the routes in the poll seem nice too though. I'd like to see a ECML with the InterCity 225 (Class 91) and new Azuma train sets.
I would like to see the following: GWML Reading - Bristol/Cardiff ECML London - Peterborough, Peterborough - York, York - Newcastle, Newcastle - Edinburgh and Edinburgh - Aberdeen WCML London - Birmingham, London - Manchester/Liverpool, Crewe - Preston, Preston - Carlisle and Carlisle - Glasgow West Highland Line Glasgow - Mallaig Far North Line Inverness - Thurso/Wick
BELGIAN ROUTES: - EUPEN -> Liege -> Brussels -> OSTEND - GENK -> Landen -> Leuven -> Brussel -> Ghent -> Brugges -> BLANKENBERGE - ANTWERP -> Lier -> Herentals-Mol -> HASSELT - BRUSSEL SOUTH -> Brussels Airport -> Brussels-Lux -> Ottignies -> Namen -> DINANT - BRUSSELS -> Brussels Airport -> Antwerp -> Den Haag -> Amsterdam Rolling stock: NMBS/SNCB MS08/AM08 Desiro NMBS/SNCB M7 double-decker train NMBS/SNCB Class 21 NMBS/SNCB Class 27 NMBS/SNCB Class 41 NMBS/SNCB Class 62 (my favorite) NMBS/SNCB Class 77 NMBS/SNCB AM50 Or Dutch routes, I don't have knowledge about those but this rolling stock looks interesting! Rolling stock: NS Class 1600 NS Class 1700 NS Class 186 Vossloh G2000 BB MaK / Vossloh G1206 And my absolute favorites in The Netherlands!! NS Class 4000/4200 NS Class 8600/8700/9400/9500 Never they made Belgian lines so I'm not hoping on it and not expecting either but any chance I have to mention it I will. Same for Dutch rail, they never made it before and I'm assuming it wouldn't change today so ..
I made a route suggestion with the class 4000/4200 ICM(m) and 8600/8700/9400/9500 VIRM(m) and 1700. I might add something like the MaK DE 6400 (NS Serie 6400) to it later. Check it out.
I did see it they never made Dutch nor Belgian routes (I'm from Hoegaarden BE) so maybe if we mention it frequently they might take it on hahah .. but love your post, very detailed. I should find more info about the Belgian rail network and add it too.
I am a Dutch train enthusiast and I see a lot of suggestions of Dutch route. Its also on number 5 on most suggested route (A dutch route). I just wan't a Dutch route so badly just because how interesting their rolling stock are (ICM(m)), how the timetable works and how the stations split their platforms to optimize unused platforms.
I think the Ayrshire Coast Line would be a bestselling route (Proposal linked). Here are some videos from Youtube of a section of the line recently: If DTG can put this in there is no doubt that this could be one of, if not the, best routes. Check out my forum proposal for it here.
Gotta be the SWML Waterloo-Woking and all the suburban services down to Chessi, Guildford, Shepperton etc. Would love to see the 455 in game
Exeter to Kingswear (and maybe to Plymouth) in the 1950's, would be awesome to see a Grange attach itself to the front of a Castle at Newton Abbot to assist a heavy train over the banks to Plymouth - but obviously that will be for when steam arrives Exeter to Paignton/Plymouth set in the 70's or the mid 80's - preferably with service mode taken from a summer Saturday timetable, this would mean DTG having to build a new DMU though if they were going to keep things realistic as they like to do! I suppose if none of the two above eras then I could live with a modern version or modernish version although preferably with a HST rather than one of those Hitachi things!
NJ Transit Raritan Valley Line High Bridge to New York Penn via Newark Penn Station. Note that some trains only terminate to Raritan Station from either you Newark Penn Station or New York Penn Station. Weekend service is only Raritan to Newark Penn Station some trains go High Bridge. The Accompanying manual for this DLC route should be a modified North Jersey coast line ALP-45DP since the route involves switch Electric Mode from Diesel mode complete with Console Controls. Brakes PS4 PS5 L1 L2 Xbox One Series X/S LT LB Throttle RT RB Xbox One Series X/S PS4 PS5 R1 R2. For the Great Eastern Mainline they need a class 755 manual detailing on how to switch between electric and Diesel Mode. Complete with Interior rendering there is a video by Geoff Marshall to what it looks like on the inside
