TfL Rail was introduced on 31 May 2015 when it took control from Abellio Greater Anglia of the commuter "metro" service between Liverpool Street in central London and Shenfield in Essex. The branch comprises the first 14 stations on the Great Eastern Main Line, with interchange at Shenfield for medium- and long-distance services beyond to East Anglia. This route is 20 miles and 16 chains long consisting of 14 stations along the way so it's not the longest but I think it's great the stops would include Liverpool Street, Stratford, Maryland, Forest Gate, Manor Park, Ilford, Seven Kings, Goodmayes, Chadwell Heath, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Brentwood and Shenfield The trains on this route would be the class 315 in it current TFL rail white and blue livery and the class 345 in its current TFL rail purple and white livery During peak times and Sundays, there are alternating services terminating at Gidea Park. During weekday peak hours, calling patterns are varied, with some stations omitted on certain Greater Anglia service run from Liverpool street The route would go from Liverpool street to Southminster and Southend victoria Liverpool street to Southend Victoria London Liverpool street,Stratford, Romford, Shenfield, Billericay, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Rochford, Southend Airport, Prittlewell and Southend Victoria which is 41 miles Liverpool street to Southminster All stations from the previous before wickford then on to Battlesbridge, South Woodham Ferrers, North Fambridge, Althorne, Burnham-on-Crouch and Southminster Which is 41 miles [I think this is a decent sized length route So route length shouldn't be a problem Since this route is quite busy at stations such as London Liverpool Street and Stratford the new rush hour passengers would fit this route] edit Class 315 TFL rail London to Shenfield Class 345 TFL rail London to Shenfield Class 321 Greater anglia London to Southend victoria/Southminster Class 322 ex northern/ Greater anglia London to Southend victoria/Southminster Class 720 Greater anglia London to Southend victoria/Southminster I suggest they start with the Greater anglia stock all 3 trains basically 2 but I would love to see the 321 322 and 720 Then the 315 and 345 as a TFL Rail add on pack or all together if they could
More likely to be the 315 as a reskin of the 313 (and the now confirmed 314 with Cathcart Circle) and I would say probably the 321 as it's a staple of TSx versions of several routes
I'd say for a modern interpretation, the 720 and 745 would be must-haves for the route. Though I would prefer a setting from a couple of years ago with 90s, 321s and 360s providing the bulk of the traction, maybe 317s too, but that would be more appropriate to the West Anglian Mainline. Freight would be great too, 66s, 86s and 90s to Felixstowe, as well as Chelmsford Recp. and Marks Tey would be a nice diverse mix.
So if they were to start with the 720 and 745 along with class 86 for freight and make the 321 a add on along with the tfl add on
66s and 90s would probably be more appropriate for an up to date version, seeing as the 86s are not in service for the foreseeable future
Time to bring more classic train simulator 21 routes into train simulator world 2 that includes GWML RSN HMA Haputstrecke Hamburg-Lübeck and this one.
