I am proposing the AC4400CW locomotive. Introduced in 1995 the AC4400CW was the AC Version of the DASH 9-44CW. the SP were one the first to order the AC4400CW's and were used in heavy haul service on taconite trains from wisconsin to Geneva steel, CP put a large order in and mainly used on Coal, grain, potash and sulfur trains and followed by Chicago & Northwestern for powder river basin coal trains. Union Pacific has one of the largest fleets of AC4400CW's and also acquired the CN&W'S and SP'S AC4400CW's when the mergers took place. CSX ordered these units in vast numbers and then modified to heavy weights for dealing with coal trains.

The Canadian National and Norfolk Southern are the two railroads that never ordered any AC Traction but stack with the Dash9-44CW and C40-9W. in 2012 both of these railroads ordered ES44AC'S and the NS ordered SD70ACes too. CN purchased 4 SD70ACe's. In late 2017 NS announced a rebuild program for the older C40-9 (tophat's) and Dash9-40CW's these would be turned into AC44C6M'S NS is pleased with these units and talks of more units to come. In the same time bracket CP started repainting the units with golden beaver logo and a major rebuild program.
The first batch of CP's AC4400CW's the 9500-9599 were meant to get rebuild the problem being most of these units have been in storage or out on lease. 9500-9560 i believe some have been canablised for spares and were found to have chassis damage and the cabs were rotten . They may get rebuild or new loco's built out the remainder of this batch. however the rest of the fleet with 9582-9599 are to be rebuilt with new cabs, electrical system hi-ad trucks and have been renumber in the 8100's all have PTC attentenna's. Hres a list of how many each railroad had any rr's i ve missed out too

    BNSF - 121 units
Cartier Railway (Arcelor Mittal) - 19 units
    CN&W - 35 units
    Canadian Pacific - 438 units
CIT group CEFX - 59 units
    CSX - 594 units
    ferromex -75 units
Kansas City Southern - 50 units
    Quebec Northshore& Labrador - 10 units
    Southern Pacific - 279 units
    Union Pacific - 1,278 units

BNSF is unlikely to happen, but I could see UP or SP making it into the game.

I agree the BNSF is unlikely to happen but the others I would be interested in being added.

I know this is an old post, but I definitely agree. The AC44 is the backbone of the CSX road fleet (besides the GEVOs and Dash 8's), and it would be super nice for M - WPB. It could be in YN2 (an updated version from the Dash 8, as it kinda sucks), YN3, and YN3B. They are regularly seen on most mainline freights, and it isn't uncommon for almost every power set on a train to contain at least one. It would also be nice to get some new locos for Donner, Sherman (or other UP routes), Penn Coal, and CMP. This should definetly be in the game.

I do know that Searchlight Simulations is bringing their AC4400CW Canadian Pacific to the Steam Store, so we will get at least 1 AC4400 in the future, I believe they are planning on working on a BNSF version later as well I believe (Most likely will only be avaliable from them), but IDK if they will make any more AC44's after those 2.

However I would like to see someone do up a UP one in the future, especially the repainted ones with the US Flag and Wings logo on the nose.
