When approaching the end of the LZB section a 1000Hz magnet will illuminate along with the ENDE lamp, when it does this what you have to do to switch back to PZB control without triggering the emergency brakes:
    1. Immediately press the PZB release switch (not acknowledge), if you don't, the train will stop.

    PZB Release = PZB Frei
    2. Idle the Power
    3. Switch off AFB
    4. Let the train coast until LZB deactivates completely (i.e. The PZB lights illuminate)
    5. Set AFB to the current speed limit and activate it again
    6. Apply power

If you have LZB and set your desired speed on AFB the train drives itself! (until LZB ends of course).

Too elaborate, too time-consuming, and unnecessary.

    1. Wait until LZB turns off (a buzzer ~1 min later); PZB lights will come on and LZB light will change to B
    2. Pull AFB controller back to 0
    3. Reset AFB.

No need to turn AFB off, nor to zero the throttle and coast (execept intentionally)
