Wow! I love it! You've nailed the in-cab sound effects, it feels like the real thing! Perfect balance of sound level, very good weathering on cab surfaces and everything worked as intended! Keep it coming DTG! We might need to set up a direct debit!
Very pleased with the 465 what I have played so far and done a few Gillingham to Rochester routes before work this morning.
My only grip, is the interiors are always overly lit and too bright. Apart from that I like it, especially the sound it makes when it moves off!
I'm very happy to hear that DTG is starting to take the sounds seriously, I hope this quality will be the standard from now on.
Thank to AP for providing sounds. I hope that they keep providing sounds for UK content, because DTG is to weak regarding sounds
I have definitely fallen in love with the 465. So much fun to drive. Sounds gorgeous and looks amazing. This sets a high bar for DTG to match in the future - notably the 313, which I’m also looking forward too.
The Southeastern BR Class 465 EMU (€13,99) is not provided in the Southeastern High Speed: London St Pancras - Faversham (€29,99) ?
I can only agree with everybody else. The 465 is a home run hit. Definitely deserves all the praise it's getting. It's been a while since DTG released an add-on of this quality. Nice to see they do still know how to knock it out of the park. Gaming is a highly audiovisual experience, and it's no coIncidence that the audio part comes first in that term. It's far more important than the visuals (imho). The audio is what creates the immersion. And with this DTG got it spot on. For me the 465 is the best sounding train in TSW along with the 425. Well done, chaps ! Now show us this wasn't a fluke
I'm very much enjoying the 465. It looks great, sounds great, and is great fun to drive. There are a couple of minor issues, such as the rain audio only working in some carriages and the brake hold function being broken. But, this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment. Great work DTG!
Im hopefully looking forward to better sounds (especially the horn) for the upcoming re work of the class 52 on the GWE Diesel legends pack. Hentis
Well done DTG. Well done indeed. It’s a nice change to get a well made functional model with fantastic sounds! If only we could keep up this standard then the future looks bright indeed! Now a nice extension to Victoria so we can really stretch it’s legs ;-p
Can't we have the North Kent lines instead where there's actually something to do with the Networkers? Anything that comes from Medway is fast from Bromley, Longfield or Rochester anyway and Networkers are stabled / serviced at Slade Green (just west of Dartford)
Glad to hear this is a high quality DLC. Judging by the little extra touches put in their article, some good research has gone into this train. Including BR logos and Safety system isolated indicator lights. And I would always expect great things from AP regarding sound. Certainly on my list to get, after I purchase the route of course.
Tonight I bought both the route and the train and tried it out and no regrets. The class 465 has great sound! Keep up the good work!!
I really like the 465, but there are two points I'm not sure about: 1.There is a button on the left upper panel, to turn all lights off. I accidently pushed it in a night run and I wasn't able to turn any light on again. I tried to reset the train, but I wasn't able to turn the front signal lights on again. Any idea? 2. The doors open already at about 15 mph when the train is still moving. Bug or feature?
Agree with the pretty unanimous enthusiasm for this one; great train add on and sounds brilliant and great fun to drive. only niggle in the sound I’ve noticed is a slight diesel idling sound externally when stopped at a station that sounds like it may have been brought in from the 166 by mistake?
For the first thing, there is a button on the same panel labelled ‘Aux lighting & heat’ you need to hold that button in for 5-10 seconds to turn the train lighting back on, you might also need to have the reverser in neutral to do so. As for the second, did you do this while you had regen braking on or off? I know that with it on the train won’t move with the doors open, although I haven’t tried opening them whilst moving.
I actually hate the train in RL but... Can't wait to get my hands on it. It looks great and sounds great. Lovely job DTG. Beautiful
Would definitely agree with the positivity regarding the 465, it does look and sound great. And having now purchased SEHS and the 465 I am enjoying this route a lot. The initial mixed reviews of SEHS made me hold off purchasing but it's got a lot more variety of services than I was expecting and subsequent updates to it seemed to have ironed out some initial issues (not to say that there aren't still some things that could be improved in it)
So thanks for the hint! Good to know where the button is. Well, I tried again with the doors and actually they open at any speed...?!
Hi, I came across the same thing travelling at a good speed and as the control is set at the immersible and not able to revert back to the Classic pressed the door button by mistake and hey presto doors opened whilst running. Seems strange that you can't open the drivers door whilst running but passenger doors no problem
Really like it- not much to add that hasn't been said. I'd love to see the sound quality on the 465 be the standard going forward. I really adds so much to the overall quality.
Has it been downloaded? You buy it then download it. Make sure you restart completely TSW2 afterwards.
I’ve done all of that. Even when I go back onto the store and try to buy it again, it says “This content isn’t available at the moment. Try again later.” But the game still took my money I don’t know what to do.
How bizarre. Classic IT here but restart the whole PS and it’ll log back in to the PSN afresh. Items might appear in the download queue, might have to initialise the download again from the store. Or the game down down down to add ones and see what it looks like in that list.
I like the 465, if I had one small complaint it would be all the empty poster boards in the passenger compartment, it makes it look very sterile.
Drove it once, now I can't stop driving it! Great work, DTG! Drives well, sounds are perfect (thanks, AP!), looks stellar and it fits in very well to SEHS. It's my new favourite EMU! Money well spent and I'd recommend everyone interested to pick it up! I hope DTG works with AP on future locos, as it pretty much solves all the sound issues we've been having often.
Hi, sorry for the late response, when I click on the DLC to buy it again, it just gives me an error, it’s not even giving me the option to download. I don’t know why
