Safe Places To Buy Dlc's?

I have noticed some sales on gamersgate and games planet. I allways buy my games from steam and humblebundle, so this are new websites for me. Are this official stores? Recognised by DTG? Is it safe to buy from them or I will lose the content in couple of years as I heard people did a few years back?

Do you know any other good stores?

Didn't they have a scandal last year with the way they procure they're keys?

 

I have had no problem with Gamersgate in the past - they sold me a Steam Key which worked for the DLC I bought
Once you have purchased any content that is installed via a Steam key you never lose it.

 

I'm not sure, I have never had a problem with them.
