Nice!! And wow that was fast!!! I was gonna make one myself but its now 3:40am here on the east coast. Ima use this one for my "throwback" MTA liveries.
Thanks but keep in mind you can’t put anything such as the NSE logo or the numbers on the black part at the front window
Close but not quite right. The bodysides should be two different shades and the Trainload Coal logo is missing it's black square top left.....
There's also the BR double arrow logo and a depot plaque as can be seen on the loco far left of the picture i posted.... (That plaque is for Toton depot). Although it's an "If Only" livery so you could omit the depot plaque.
I have Eastcoast, SEHS, NTP, and GWR. Would this run on any of those lines? Trying to figure out a depot to place it in!
The livery on that loco is totally fictitious as it is a livery from the 90s. But back in the 90s Trainload Coal locos mainly worked in the north of England along with Wales and Scotland also.
Latest one of mine for the SPG fleet....... Another covered hopper and the first of a couple of variations I've decided to go for. This one with UP lettering and the second will be with the UP logo..... Both based on photographs.
Fantastic work! Especially the small details, which take a LOT of effort. Query: how did you do the Roman lettering in "Southern"? I haven't figured out a way to do serif typefaces except by elemental construction, which kills the layer budget.
Thanks. I’m getting there slowly but surely. Hit the 300 limit with this one. Sticking with the freight stuff though while I get used to things.
Thanks, the method I found can add a lot of layers sadly so be careful when you’ll use it. First take any letter: Then you choose this layer: And you choose the right size, of course you can mirror it or rotate it to put it at the bottom: Sadly this is the only way and it can add up a lot of layers depending on how many letters you need
Same way I do it. Which is a killer under the 300-layer limit. I may have to ditch a couple of planned projects for that reason, or just use default font which will look cheesy.
And, a pair of bookends for the CSX fallen-flag pack. No, B&O Royal Blue and C&O Enchantment Blue are not the same color. Except when they are. Here, they're not. (2037 and 2097 are legit numbers; they just happened to be convenient for the painter....)
Unfortunately it's kind of hidden down at the bottom- all of C&O's and B&O's GP38s actually had cyclops headlights and plain noses, so the heralds went up at the top where they could be seen.
Great work. Looking forward to DTG sorting out there recent issues with custom liveries and then adding these to the collection.
"Fresh out of the box" and then "A little work stained"......... Had to stick to the default lettering rather than the UP style lettering and numbering as ran out of layers on both re-skins. On the clean version it was due to the warning notices in red near the bottom and on the dirty version it was due to using 6 copies of each large letter on top of each other to make them appear bold plus the weathering.
Quick preview of my first 465. Gonna use this train for my "Throwback" liveries Metro-North M3. Gonna have to go a lil M7 when putting the logo on the front
Has anybody out there yet figured out a workable way in LD to construct the S in Seaboard System? (The font is ITC Eras Std Bold). All of my attempts so far look like crap.
I tryed it like this maybe it helps, still looks not particularly good but tryed my best. It is a very hard to make S same as the S of Norfolk southern, currently working on that.
No it’s a bug introduced with last week’s update. DTG are working on a fix for it. I’ve also noticed that my hauled stock is very limited since the update also with only one or two items appearing each time rather than five previously.
Hi, here is my custom GWR Electrostar, made on East Coastway's 377 mainly because of its green interior. I don't want to look arrogant but this is probably my best custom livery ever made as of now. Couldn't see how it looks in-game though because of that glitch preventing me to use custom liveries on a number of trains.
MTA Staten Island Railway class 375. This is my take on the new subway scheme, the actual cars on this line are bland looking steel ones.
Before I kill this account I'm going to finish a livery it's my southern GP38-2 5000 after this it I will probably stop posting until about summer hopefully I won't be hated
Here is the final one goodbye until summer Ok so update you know what nvm ignore what I said I'm not going offline for a while I'll continue my creating
Currently I cannot use any of my designed liveries on the C40-8W. Is anyone else having this problem?
