On the 465, I've been having problems with the speed control/cruise control. It doesn't work consistently, both with standard keyboard commands from other trains that have this feature, and even in the game itself.

First - CTRL-R doesn't turn it on and off like it does in other DLC's, it just seems to increment the speed.

Second - when I use the knob in the cab to turn it on and set the speed, roughly 40% of the time it doesn't work - i.e. I go to speed 4 expecting to see the blue marker show up on the HUD at the selected speed, but don't get one. Instead, the speed will keep increasing through the set point as if it wasn't turned on, despite a marker showing on the trains physical speedometer. If I restart that run and do the exact same steps I did previously, more often than not it will work fine.

Can this be looked at, please?

Are you turning on the regen braking?

For speed set to work this is what you need to do :

    Turn on regen braking
Put the throttle into notch 4

The speed set should now be working

Keyboard controls are just R and F and work fine on Xbox. No need to use CTRL-R as it's a not preset, you turn the knob to activate and deactivate the system in Power notch 4 with regen braking on.

That did the trick, I must have been forgetting to turn on regen. Thanks!

Hey, could anybody tell me what regen braking is and where I turn it on? Read about it a few times but I still don't know what it is exactly. Thanks in advance!

I like the speed set on this unit as it reduces speed if you set it lower than the previous. very nice.

The same on a lot of locos , it also eases stress on the brakes and helps slow the train down more comfortably

None on any stock I own so far for me, This since the 377 unit is the best speed set set-up I have used in game so far.
