yeah like jo_kim saying just add sydney is not going to get many people backing or interested in the route unless you provide info about the route like what locos are ran maybe photos of stations or parts of the route as well as gauge on the distance the route would be

1 I think Sydney has a realistic and not many designers are double deckers 2 theres no maps in the Southern Hemisphere and lastly not many maps go half outside half inside tunnel and not many maps have stations inside the tunnel

Convince the community? I thought it was DTG that made the decisions around here ;)

As a fellow Aussy though I fully support the introduction of an Australian route to TSW2

One of my favourite Australian routes is around the Moss Vale area, having run the SimSig traffic simulation of the area. You have both the main line from Sydney and the steeply graded route down to Unanderra plus various spurs to industry such as Medway Quarry. If the SimSig timetable is accurate, loads of freight there is the local service from Sydney which generally runs hourly to Moss Vale, XPTs which go on further so certainly busy enough to support a comprehensive timetable.

Of course, DTG will make the final decision about which routes are coming to the game. But then you'll still have to "sell" your suggestion to them. And if they have for example two routes but are only able to do one at the moment, they'll take a look in the forums and see which is more popular. The more work you'll put in a suggestion the more people are likely to support your idea.

Yeah, I know what you mean.. I was being a bit cheeky..

Personally, I'd like to see Puffing Billy in TSW2 but I can't see that being a reality. Let's see how they go with Steam on TSW2 first ;)

I volunteer at Puff - we've got diesels :). Diesels now, steam later!

Do they still have steam engines there? I remember going there as a kid and being mesmerised by the steam locomotive. So, the place is probably more for the memories for me although I'd love to see steam anywhere.
