    As seen in TS, this route brings a lot with it. Not only the length but also scenery makes this route worth seeing in TSW2. Highlights are e.g. the "Hundertwssser-Bahnhof" in Uelzen, crossing the river "Elbe"
    in Hamburg and of course the memorial site of 1998's ICE disaster in Eschede. I'd really enjoy exploring Lower Saxony through this route in TSW2 after really enjoing it in TS.

    --> Data:
    Length: 167km
    Max. Speed Limit: 200 Km/h

    --> Services:
    1. S-Bahn: Services between Hannover-Celle
    2. Regionalexpress: Metronom services betweem Hannover-Uelzen, Uelzen-Hamburg
    3. Intercity: Services between Hamburg-Hannover
    4. IntercityExpress: Services between Hamburg-Hannover
    5. Several freight sevices

    --> Trains:
    S-Bahn: e.g. BR 424 (S-Bahn Hannover by Deutsche Bahn)

    Yes!! As route was also developed by DTG for TS, it's not unlikely to see that route in TSW. I think Hamburg-Hannver was next to Köln-Koblenz one of the best selling german routes by DTG.

    Here are a few more details about this route and my opinion about it:
    1. The length you have given is the distance between Hamburg and Lehrte. If you want to terminate this route at Hannover Hbf the length would increase to 167km.
    2. The route is too long for one DLC (at least at this moment). The optimum length for new routes lies between 60 and 90km.
    3. This route isn't that fun to drive. There are much more challenging or beautiful routes than this one. It is challenging for a signalman due to the high traffic and limited overtaking possibilities on this line. But since we don't have a signalman mode in TSW this is not an argument for this route.
    4. Next year a new operator will take over the S-Bahn Hannover. Depending on which year this route is set the rolling stock could vary a lot. The new operator will take over 13 BR 425 from DB and modernize the fleet with Stadler FLIRT 3 MAX.
    5. The line is also used by the following passenger trains:
    BR401 (ICE 1)
    [IMG]
    BR 412 (ICE 4)
    [IMG]
    BR 411 / 415 (ICE T)
    [IMG]
    6. The line is frequently used by the following freight locomotives:
    BR 152 (Siemens ES64F)
    [IMG]
    BR 186 (Bombardier Traxx F140 MS2E)
    [IMG]
    BR 182 (Siemens ES64U2)

    Thanks for your Info. I'll edit my post later :)
    I Actually copied the distance from DTG's Steam shop page of Hamburg-Hannover for TS Classic. Interesting that they put the wrong length into their shop-article. So where did you get your info about route-lengh?

    I've calculated the length based on the route lengths provided by DB.
    If you have any further questions about this line just ask, I've lived in Celle for 8 years and I still travel on this line around two times a year.
    If you need a map of the line, here you go:

    Well that's your point of view - in my view this route IS fun. At least in TS.

    This would be great! I would also suggest that Hamburg Docks and the freight routes to Hamburg Harburg be added considering the vast freight flow to and from Maschen and the docks.
