Mine is queued for now as TSW2 is downloading, strange there are no notes posted for what ever it is.
What size is the update for Train Simulator? My TSW2 already updated, do you know what is "option to enable timetable selection in routes"? I didn't see any changes to the timetable page.
Have no idea it is not showing a size at this point I would have to wait until TSw2 is done before I can start the TS download.
Considering the size, it's larger than rolling stock DLC, maybe it's a route update. But what changed?
When I started TS this morning, the Steam client said I had to reinstall the game, which I had to do for the first time ever with the last FastLoad update. Beginning to think the release of an update upsets my installation somehow. Anyone else have problems?
In my explorer I noticed changed dates for folder in routes and assets. route:00000097-0000-0000-0000-000000002021 and in assets: .../DTG/Washington-Baltimore. The new date corresponds to the download date in steam. The only strange thing is - the asset file (ap.file) has a size of 2,23 GB, the download size only 576 MB. It´s possible that they can update only parts of an ap-file? However: generelly would it nice if DTG would inform us all what they update, not only for single updates as the last one for for faster loading. Other games / developer do this, but DTG .... information politics are not realy good.
Hi all it was a small update for the NEC: Washington DC - Baltimore route and it addresses the incorrect horn sample used on the Amtrak Acela Express. Further fixes are planned they will follow in due course.
Thank you, Jamie. Do you know why an update might have caused my TS to need a reinstall of certain files? Happened yesterday, and the day of the fastload update.
Thank you for the feedback, I wonder if in the further fixes planned is the issue with the cruise control of the Acela. Thank you very much!
I see this had to do with the Washington route. That explains why I didn't have an update. Good to know it's been updated and more are planned, however.
