Unable To Get Past Release Independent Brake

Hello everyone, so i am doing the powering america route for part 1 and i am unable to get past the release independent brake objective. I am running it on laptop so is there any way to fix this or i just have to leave this route alone and play the other ones? Thanks

Alright. Just checking. That is usually the problem for most people. I can't help any further. I haven't played that particular scenario yet.

 

This scenario is known for the brake bug issue. Not sure if that has been fixed now but looks like it's not on my end.

 

Have you tried moving the independent brake lever to Bail Off (past release)? I seem to recall that working for me.

 

Yeah I've tried that as well. Nothing seems to work for me not sure why. I even tried doing that several times but same

 

Anyone who has done this scenario this week can let me know how u solve this issue?

 

Did you set the MU-2 valve to LEAD-DEAD in the main locomotive, and to TRAIL 6-26 on the other(s)

 

I tried it tonight on Xbox. Even though the brake release task did not immediately clear, I continued through the loader. After a few cars loaded (maybe around 10), I applied the independent brake to 100% and then released it. This finally cleared the task and moved on to the loading task, which was partially complete. Hopefully this will work for you, as well.
