Really like Isle of Wight. Great value. Also bought Ruhr-Sieg Nord and it feels a bit broken to be honest. Tutorial was very buggy and the second mission has a red signal at the start preventing any progress at all. Sound of the train is also glitchy and synthetic.
When it came out, I decided to pick up IoW the moment it got to 15 EUR or less... but I might just pull the trigger now Also, I was going to hold off for the new Diesel Legends, but I think I'm gonna get that this weekend as well
Is the TGV route not on sale? I saw PC people can get that at 25% off and Munich Ausberg at 30% off. Are we being left out again while they all go out and celebrate their March Madness?
Console users always get left behind when it comes to sales because DTG don't control sales on console platforms. Steam sales are frequent because Steam offers a lot of slots in their many sales.
Sam has just said on stream that the PlayStation sale is coming very soon. I’m happy with that, just needs announcing a bit better
Same here on this website they give the option to go to the store only to find it's all geared up for STEAM.
Isle of Wight is a pretty route, BUT just be aware that its incredibly short, you start off at Shanklin and before you know it you're at the Ryde Pier Head, it goes very quickly indeed, and its a one track line, nothing else to do than go back and forth. Its pretty though and I think the sound on this route is better than most other routes, you can really hear the train going over the tracks
I've seen people complaining many times that TSW routes and trains are much more often on sale on PC steam and better reductions too.. but just so you know this is nothing to do with Dovetail at all, its 100% to do with Sony, they control the sales on their store, no developers have any input whatsoever. I know this for a fact because my sisters husband is one of the audio guys that worked on Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments game, and I said ''I want to play it but its £32.99 on PS Store which is way too much because its not a long or deep game, I will wait for a sale" and he told me that they have no say in sales, its all up to Sony, they reduce what they want and when they want etc etc
I did the same exact thing yesterday and I love the route so far. $16.24 for a short route was good enough for me and a first to purchase a content from a third party dev.
Yes, I'm liking it a lot too. This route is charming, even though it's short, you really enjoy travelling up and down. I think we have done well to wait. Besides playing it without many of the bugs it had at launch because Rivet fixed them, we got it cheaper.
