On the Caltrain route the up gp38 is buggy for me first off Dynamic braking doesn't work for it and second when I turn on the lead unit it shows a red indicator but still throttle up and throttles down does anyone else have this issue or it's just me?
Same on the PC and the red box issues also effects the other locos on the route, like the baby bullett
The dynamic brake bug was introduced with the March 2 patch and affected all EMD diesels, including the F40PH. For some reason it has been fixed in SPG, but not in PC. The red box is a harmless UI glitch; ignore.
Red box on hud work in reverse as it should. If you turn on switches to activate throttle control it changes to red, but it should be red when throttle control is off (in MU control, idling or shut down)
On my PS4, the red box syndrome only affects the GP38 and the MP36, but not the F40. Don't remember whether it's also in the cab cars. Harmless but looks weird.
