Got to be classic AC electrics for me, though I threw in the 76 as if we ever get Woodhead as a route, pretty much de-riguer.

Correction here Class 88 is actually an Electro-Diesel Locomotive like Classes 73 74 & 93. This locomotive can work on GWE if modernized

Another vote for the 76 here for a future Woodhead line. I'd also be very happy with any of the first gen WCML electric locos.

I’d love an 87 or in place of it any of the locos leading up to it that had the tap changers for power. Anything later than an 87 and some of the fun (and skill) would be lost.

The class 93 was never built, so would it just use sounds recorded off an older Eurostar?

Class 93 is the new tri-mode locomotives ordered by Rail Operations Group. They are going to be very similar to the Class 68/88s
