Let me just throw a wild possibility that doesn't seem too unrealistic....

We end up with Clinchfield and Arosalinie being released on the same day. Just a thought.

It does seem odd to have both these streams back to back on a Friday and Saturday. And Rivet's release schedule technically doesn't influence DTG's...

Just throwing in some more wild thoughts :)

Can we assume that both Arosalinie and Clinchfield will be previewed with release versions?

It probably would be safe to assume that Arosa will be, small chance that Clinchfield could be close to final build.

I bet that the Chlinchfield Railroad will be released in the week after of the Arosa Line, just like HMA after the IOW. I think we will get a release date of Chlinchfield this week because their is already a stream on Saturday.

I would guess that Clinchfield releases the week after Arosa. That would make 2 weeks between preview stream and release, same as SEHS, if I remember correctly.

I’d wondered about this too, especially as this year we’ve had one preview stream followed a week later by a release stream. It was the case during the RailFest event for SEHS providing the first stream and for Diesel Legends recently.

I am intrigued as to what the challenge is going to be. It’s also good to see Jamie doing Arosa Line and Matt & Sam doing Clinchfield. Lines Jamie and Sam are both passionate about (don’t know about Matt so not commenting).

I’m trying to tell myself that I won’t buy Clinchfield. It’s not really my thing, but some of the screenshots are looking so good. Arosa is the closest to home for me, so that’s a must have.

I have a feeling, unless there’s a surprise addition to “In production/Upcoming” on next weeks roadmap, the new routes will be the ones currently in production. Although whether they will be moved up is yet to be seen. It does appear that it takes a couple of roadmaps for things to move up.

Pity they aren’t also our banker too! It’s going to be nice having this many routes releasing about now, however, not sure about a) the cost and b) if there’s the time to really enjoy them before the next one comes.

Considering the rotten year that is coming due to covid and bad vaccines, I think I will seriously invest in TSW2, I will take whatever passes.
Even if it means being re-defined (in French) I prefer at least to have fun.

If i can't go somewhere, at least my money can, will and already is.
Arosa is pre ordered and i'm looking how far the releases of Clinchfield and Hamburg Lübeck are apart, because i told myself to buy only two of the 3 new routes if they are all coming during the next 4 weeks.

I’m doing the same thing! It’s more though if two good routes come out on the same day, with the next ones very close behind them, whether we have the time to actually immerse ourselves in the route like we would if only one came out. Although I don’t blame you for investing in something like this now, it’s a really good time to do it

It would also make it 8 weeks after SEHS, which is right in line with the one-route-every-two-months schedule we've been seeing (not counting 3rd parties)

However, the gap was shorter between LGV and SEHS.

With the Clinchfield and Arosa Line releases and the LIRR fixes, I think it will be finally time to re-install TSW2 onto my PC. Really hope that all 3 end up being good.

just wanted to throw something in here:
They are working on MSB- maybe one of the DLC’s is the Br151 and they will work very fast on that, so we will have the opportunity to change the banking services to Br151 :D
Or even better: They will make a gift out of it XD
And maybe they will even add the Falns waggons, Br185.5 and the containerwagons... And fix the Br146 sound.

More likely it will simply be the 101 layered in, because ICs do run on MSB.

I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be the new routes coming up with the annual TSW update, releasing in august. Or the dlc following up to the release of TSW 3, and of course, the mysterious flagship route coming in the deluxe edition.;)

I have to say, I haven't been as excited over the advent of a new route like this since I don't remember- and that means BOTH of these back to back releases.

I will try to ignore Hamburg-Lübeck for a while, till it is discounted enough. There really should be a discount for the best customers of DTG ...

Sorry to say that, but no, that will not happen that fast. The 232 is already in 3d art production and needs more time. To be honest, i don't think that the 232 is someting for this years release. Doing Locos for TSW is a totally different thing to TS1 and needs much more time and work than expected.

I could write a book about it, but i won't do that :) The G6 is definetly the firts DLC that will come to a release. It is planned for a sommer release, bu i will not promise that. We already found new obstacles and need a new round of texture making for that little thingy. That all holds back the work massively. So i need to make decisions and that means work on other things in the meanwhile. I did no work on my own DLC last two months. And as it seems, it will last a further 3 months the same. I hope to get out the G6 for August or September. The 420 after that (and that train is massively more work than the G6). Wohever made TS1 addons in the past and thinks about going to make TSW addons, be aware that you will need alot more time to get something done, or need 20 people more in your team. Just a "warning" :D

    Hi, Maik,
Do you plan to make G6 timetable compatible with 204 and 363 or is it a feature that require additional experiences in TSW and may result in even later release if you want to do so?

I'm not nearly at the point where i would think about the timetable and substitution. First, the loco needs to be ready to use as expected, then the usual scenarios and tutorial needs to being created and then i come to the timetable and substitution stuff as a latest task to do. Theoretical there is a possibility to have it replacing those other locos via the substitution. I will not copy those runs and swapt the loco. That is not how that works.

I really really hope the 101 will get more layers than just on HRR. But i doubt it. At least I hope that Hamburg-Lübeck will have a layer though just a few IC's drive there per day. Maybe they are placed in Hamburg-Hbf and go to the 'other' side into a portal or something.

And if I might ask - and I appreciate the time you take to answer these questions very much - are there any thoughts about the way the 420 would be implemented in the timetable? Would the newly developed Alternative Timetable be a do-able possibilty after it's implementation for GWE?
