Oh no. Sad to hear development of the 420 and 232 are taking much longer than anticipated to build. Looking forward to both models. I hope you’re able to get around any technical challenges delaying things and we get to see these beauties in game.
That is the only way tbh. Substitution is not working when the train is tat different. So it needs a seperat timetable. My plan with that is, to swap out a bunch of 423 runs. That is the only thing that makes any sense.
It would also reflect reality, since as I understand it the remaining 420s are kept in reserve, to substitute as needed for newer EMUs if there is a breakdown or shortage.
Unrelated to the subject but I wonder if this is why DTG are delaying the 313... Because they're having issues with a 3/6 car train replacing a 4/8 car train..?
Not a bad idea having the Clinchfield stream on a Saturday, as most of these happen during the week where most of us in the US are working or in school. Now the only hope is that the route lives up to its hype......
For obvious reasons, the routes we are getting at the moment are ones DTG have done already for Train Simulator (Sam said it on a stream) and I believe Clinchfield is already a TS route? But yes it’s a good thing this stream is on a Saturday considering the time zone of the main demographic for the route. Also it feels like during events they push the boat out with the streams, putting more on a weekend than usual so could we also be part of the reasoning for this.
Yes, I received an email yesterday reminding me of the US routes sales at the moment and there was Clinchfield in it very prominently placed
Yes and no, the TS21 route ran from Elkhorn City to St Paul, the TSW2 version will only go to Dante, losing about 8 miles of mainline, however the TSW2 version will get 2 branch lines modeled in that were not part of the TS21 route. (Freemont Branch and Nora Spur)
