The Brighton main line (also known as the South Central main line) is a major railway line in the United Kingdom that links Brighton, on the south coast of England, with central London. In London the line has two branches, out of London Victoria and London Bridge stations respectively, which join up in Croydon and continue towards Brighton as one line. The line is electrified throughout using the third rail system. The network of services operated by Southern includes local suburban ("Metro") services in South London and regional services extending into the southern Home Counties. All routes are south of the river Thames, with the exception of the West London Route service, which crosses London via Shepherd's Bush and runs up the West Coast Main Line to Milton Keynes. Along with the Thameslink and future Crossrail route, this provides one of the few long-distance National Rail routes to run right across London instead of terminating at one of the London rail termini. Southern routes which do not serve London include the West Coastway and East Coastway Lines along the south coast of both East and West Sussex, Kent and Hampshire. Excellent idea and if Dovetail games are able to get the licensing from Great Northern thameslink the parent company that owns then you can have Class 700 trains. They operate brighten Gatwick airport London Victoria King's Cross Cambridge Peterborough then the other branch which goes up the Midland Mainline to Bedford.
This suggestion is quite hard to read the service pattern, although I do support this route. The Brighton Mainline is missing a significant number of services, including Thameslink throughout from East Croydon to Various locations and Gatwick Express services that run between Brighton, Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. Hopefully it can be added at some point!
Horsham to Peterborough 2 per hour Gatwick Airport to Bedford 2 per hour Brighton to Bedford 2 per hour Brighton to Cambridge 2 per hour
Definitely.... seems to be a really highly requested route in the recent few months. Would recommend that they added Keymer Junction to Lewes as well, because that would create the Triangle
I believe GoVia is the parent company of GTR which includes Thameslink, Southern, Great Northern and Gatwick Express. The firm also have the Southeastern franchise. Essentially, they're all the same company but I don't know how licensing works. Given they've got licenses for two of GoVia's operating companies I don't think negotiating for the others would be too difficult however I'm sure it's more complicated than that
That Explains to why they are able to get East Coast Way Southern and Southeast High Speed London St Pancras down to Gillingham due to a Govia deal for Southern Rail and Southeast Services. If Dovetail Games was able to expand their licensing agreement with Govia then we can get this route London Victoria to Brighton Thameslink Cambridge to Gatwick Airport. The best thing that Dovetail Games can do is bundle London Brighton with Thameslink bridge to Gatwick Airport Southeast high speed and East Coastway for $29.99. For the European user I expect it to be something like £20.00 & €25.00 that's $30 in their local Currency.
article was accidently released, but was then removed the brighton mainline will feature GATEX class 387's and Southern class 377/4
YAY! Though... I can't tell if the branch to Lewes will be included to connect it to ECW... it doesn't look like it will be
Unfortunately not, however the article said they would be adding improved ai passengers to other routes
How much lobbying will we need to do to get the Lewes line in ;P Better passenger AI is appreciated though
I knew it! The Brighton Mainline and Bahnstrecke Riesa-Dresden were coming to Rush Hour. Yes! I was right, I knew they were coming!
I’m very surprised the leaks on the forums not been deleted I still think there will be a lot of hype on Tuesday if DTG article confirming this was all true
Do you think we will able to drive the DB BR 101 on Bahnstrecke Riesa-Dresden, just like in Train Simulator on PC?
Because it was released before the announcement date, but it was just An accident as they probably pressed publish instead of save draft
No, it’s true. Why would they put that much effort into something that it’s fake. The screenshots look legitimate and the ai passengers look different
No one absolutely knows, it was visible to some people on the Wayback machine and appeared to be a bona fide DTG web URL.
