I suspect it has rather more to do with DTG using the splash screens as advertising, than a licensing matter.
At some point I need to return to the Livery Designer and make one of these, as they were Ex-CSX GP38-2's under lease.
So today I found out Ferromex started rolling out locos in a brand new livery with some really sleek look... AND they already have one AC4400 in that livery! Well, here it goes. (for once the loco looking pristine clean is not a problem) This one was like it was designed specifically to be recreated in TSW (apart from the fonts of course) - nicely striped, simple shapes, 3 major colours and to my surprise a serious like of safety signs on the whole thing. I have looked at a ton of photos and videos and only found 7 safety stickers on it, 6 of which are crammed under dynamic brake fans behind the secondman's position. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to paint the plows and steps. (original for comparison) (moving on to uploading it to TSC)
Not really, except for the S's (S's are always a PITA). Base font doubled and thickened (might have to construct the C's but they're easy), then group and apply a shear.
That is sick! How on earth did you make the Mexican flag?!! Oh wow closer look awesome use of the spider web for cacti!
I'm on PC here but maybe this is something on all platforms??? Anyone else noticed there is still possibly an issue with custom liveries in timetable mode? Before all the recent issues i would see a limit of 5 custom items in use. For example a manifest train would contain maybe two or three box cars as well as maybe a grain car or sometimes tanker car etc..... A train of grain cars would contain one or two custom versions as well as the default car etc...... Since the supposed fix to the recent problems i am now getting no more than a single custom livery in any manifest trains..... Usually a single custom box car design if anything at all (I've had a couple of instances where no custom liveries have been used in manifest trains at all) and in grain trains only the default car with no custom items at all Is this happening for others too as there really seems to be something that has been changed in the recent updates that is severely limiting the custom items being used in the game.... To be honest most of the time now you might as well just have default stock installed there's such a small chance of your custom liveries being seen in game.
oh great I'd better check this out... I'm gonna be really mad I've spent weeks overhauling my manifest and FOR THIS???
So I'm going to show one locomotive and maybe one other even though you may have seen this before Wamx 3943 with a glitched CSX unit New Passenger Service For Cumberland
solicitr Think i've found another fallen flag variation for you...... 0:20 point in this video...... Clinchfield livery with the Clinchfield RR painted out roughly and a CSXT number.
Yep, there were several CRR locos that never got Family Lines paint and carried Clinchfield colors into the CSX era.... but no GP38s. No. 8970 was an SD-45
Hey, I can't tell 'em apart either; I just looked up the road number! But when I was doing the research for my fallen-flag pack, I did note that of the CRR locos that made it into the CSX era in old liveries, there were no GP38s. Same applied to the Georgia, the Western Alabama, the Atlanta & West Point, the Charleston & Western Carolina and all the other many RR that Seaboard owned, except for the L&N.
I had a spare 90 minutes so knocked up this quick SD40-2 version of the SD45 in the video. The road number I used was an SD40 that was actually treated similarly according to an image I have found online. Quite happy with the technique i used for the painted over Clinchfield lettering and how it turned out.... Whole thing still took 290-something layers!!!!
Found a cheat. Take an upper case O squash it a bit, then take the ) shape and make () with the left one longer.
I think the only difference is electrical configurations and the SD45 has 3600hp and a 71 MPH maximum speed and the SD40 only 3000hp but a maximum speed of 83 MPH
https://blog.traingeek.ca/2016/08/locomotive-classifications.html So CP uses different codes for model designations. For a Dash 8 they would call it DRF 40. Diesel Road Freight 40(00hp).
Thanks for the tip. Now I'll give you one. Start cleaning / isolating the barriers. If you notice well, even without zoom, there is the white number 2802 on the barriers (white on green). The same thing can be seen on the front platform, next to the headlights. The BN logo, on the other hand, is good.
