Weird! So these are actually separate squares, I think when I copied it to the other side I forgot to change the projection settings from the other side. They honestly need to make handrails a separate area we can select because especially on the class 66 they are a pain to get right.
If interested, here is the only work that I can define as almost complete. Everything else is work in progress. Yes, the editor is somewhat limited and I don't have the benefits you get on PC (Copy/Paste logos from a logo's librery. That's a shame for a 2021 Liveries Editor).

289 of 300. I can't do it. Still remains 11 shapes to create the beaver...poor beaver! :-( Update: 292 shapes and still wip. 1) The beaver is just a draft to take measurements. I have to redesign it. 2) Impossible to draw the original maple leaf due to lack of shapes. If I used the shapes to make the original leaf, I wouldn't have enough shapes to do the rest. And I've already removed a lot, such as barriers and various details. Imho, with just 300 shapes that's the right compromise.
That's a mod. And I don't use it, because the liveries are unusable except for people with the same mod installed.
Any British people know about this Biffa class 66? I watch a youtube channel about cities skylines and the guy is named biffa so it made me laugh.
Biffa are a waste management company in the UK. GBRf painted a class 66 into a Biffa livery and named it "The Flying Dustman".
I beleave this photo was posted in this chatroom once.. anyway there is a blue GP9rm looking train in the back does anyone know anything about that? asking so I can do the livery later if it's worth it (and when it becomes editable) oh also how does one share liveries? also working on another MTr livery will post when done
If you are on PC, there is a freeware app called Livery Manager which allows you to export and import livery files, and these files can be uploaded and downloaded (Train Sim Community and rail-sim.de are two major sites)

Lame. So the f40ph-2 isn't able to be painted, but the add on $20 loco is. Really we wait how many years for them to let us paint trains from our already purchased dlc and this is their response? Not impressed one bit but I have come to accept and expect this.

just looked at the patch notes many MANY things to be exited about (keep in mind I have all of this DLC I can understand frustrations about it)
ok I know I have been posting alot but.. the baby bullet has NO road numbering... It has it's service number on the front but nothing else so we can make custom road numbers for this loco!

So for the weird service number. Yes- MBTA, MetroLink, CalTrans,Frontrunner No- Metra, VRE, Marc,Road Runner, NorthStar, Sounder,Sun Rail, West Coast Express. GO isn't an MP36 but doesn't have it.
gotta start somewhere anyway in january of 2021 Hyperton obtained permission from caltrain and amtrack to run local and high-speed services in addition to their normal freight services in norther california. hyperton placed an order for 109 MP36PH 3Cs to run it's new passenger service. these took to the rails in early march and have so far been a massive success and despite some minor accidents with the trains, Hyperton has placed an order for 100 more engines as they do not have enough to cover all of the services neccisary.
well they might have added support for them... but you still can't use them. its broken again. WHY???!!?!?
wait I just thought of something.... the cab car, regular cars, and engine are all differently selected in the designer... does that mean we can't get a full set of cars in regular services and your trainset is random (which generally means we don't see any custom liveries at all)
So if I pay $22 for the Diesel pack it gives us 3 things (08,52,101)we can paint? But $20 it gives us mp36,and bombardier cars?
Ok, this was an interesting experience... because I first had to return to BKL to make the tier 1 mastery to get the wheelchair decal Anyway here's a 4-pack (so you don't get repetitive numbers) of Caltrain/Metrolink bi-levels. All have their own numbers, a varying level of dust/rust and some detail are also custom (2 with wheelchair access, 2 with luggage/bike compartment). Although they look simple, they still consumed nearly all 300 layers... the layer limit is crazy low. The pack has already been submitted to TSC. There's one possible problem with these cars though... I have intentionally gone for the mid cars as these cannot be selected by the player and therefore the game should choose them randomly itself as it does with freight cars (also I think Caltrain has not bought any cab cars from them). But after 4 attempts in timetable always seeing two Baby Bullet trains not a single car was from this selection. Soooo... I'm on my way to make yet another bug report today.
I'm going to spend $20 on a pizza and keep painting my GP38-2s and Sd40-2s. Well...sushi or pizza?! I can't decide!
