Hi, I was wondering if anybody else has had noticed this glitch I found in certain situations. In certain train configurations, like those in the Lees Valley Line DLC, the locomotive itself has the "front" of the train connected to the payload, and the "back" facing forwards, which is normal. What is not normal is when this situation is met, the incline indicator is reversed. When you are going uphill, the indicator says that you are going down, and vice versa. I hope this bug will be fixed.
I don't think that the issue is just on this one map, though. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a bug with the entire HUD, not just map specific...
It isn't even a bug, really, but the way it is currently programmed- each loco has a 'front' and 'back,' even double-cab ones, and the inclinometer is tied to that (if you look at the 2D map, you can see that often your loco is depicted square end first)
I figured that out pretty soon after I noticed the bug. It’s just in the last train sim world, when you were in a train where the back end faces out, the incline indicator didn’t have this issue. It automatically adjusted itself.
this happens on all Dual Cab (most british and German locos) or Dual Control stand (class 20 and and DB BR 204) locos and honestly its kinda stupid
