I'm proposing that a single, unified discussion forum be added in lieu of the separate platform specific boards that currently exist within the TSW forum. I think there are quite a few disadvantages to the current format: Where does general conversation go?: Where is general (non-platform specific) discussion intended to live? Conversations like the Awesome Service Mode Runs thread have no reason to be isolated to a specific platform as they serve the whole community. If you don't play TSW on a PC, it'd be easy to miss such a gem as it is tucked away in the PC forum. Duplicated threads: In a similar vein, nearly identical discussions are often occurring in the separate platform forums, for instance, discussing an upcoming DLC. The vast majority of topics discussed in the platform specific forums are either applicable to all platforms, or could have a simple tag to indicate the platform if relevant. A central place for these general discussion to occur would mean less fragmented discussions. "Platform Wars": I believe that separating discussions into these platform specific groups likely only results in more of a "platform wars" mindset. These us vs them attitudes rear their head with fair frequency in these forums. Arbitrary division of the discussion boards likely doesn't help this situation. I'd love to hear some thoughts from others, but it seems to me that moving away from the platform specific boards would serve the community well.
They can start off by removing the separate platform forums and unifying it to one, and allow players to select a tag for their device
