What are the chances of getting one of these in TSW2? An 86 already features in TS2020 as an additional dlc, I would love to have a go at Tap Changer :)

I do realise we might also need a new route or at the very least to electrify the whole of GWE to use these loco's ;)

Any AC locomotives from Class 81 to 91 would be great (except 88 which is Electro Diesel but still a good choice). WCML or ECML are the only realistic candidates for which route to put them on although they did sometimes end up on other routes.

This is talking my language for era... Would really need a representative route on which to run them which to all intents and purposes would have to be a section of the WCML. Shap would be nice, give them a workout and some nice scenery too (Lancaster to Carlisle, perhaps?).

Before the 86’s (freightliner) were stored, they were a regular sight on the great eastern mainline and Ipswich

Have played the 86 and 87 the whole way from Lancaster to Glasgow in various addons during the years. Great fun to drive when u get the hang on it.

I remember running the whole WCML Euston to Glasgow in the Train Driver 3 programme (used an Amiga emulator on the PC) with a Class 86, albeit somewhat simplified but it did have the tap changer, IIRC.

Would be great. Would love to see an intercity era route featuring 86,87 and 90.

I would absolutely love a Class 87 in the game. Ideally I’d want it on WCML Crewe to Liverpool but I wouldn’t be bothered if it was another section of WCML or another route, I just want to drive one. Now.
