    I´m having constant stutters on LGV Méditerranée about every 5 seconds despite regularly hitting 30-50 fps. I've tried some fixes but to no avail. I've even turned the graphics to its lowest and I'm still getting stutters. Does anyone have a solution to this? (I'm running this off of a GTX 1660 Super btw)

    Try turning vsync on or off. Is this an issue only on LGV ? It sounds like a game issue to me

    It only happens on LGV I think. No other route does it.

    You’re not using DX12 by any chance are you?

    That’s the issue. LGV hates DX12 for some reason. I think it has to do with the loading of assets in combination with moving at high speeds. I recommend just turning off DX12 when you play LGV since the constant stuttering negates any FPS gains you may have.

    Will DTG possibly implement a fix in the future? Cus I'm now having lower fps in the Marseille area. It's also a bit of an inconvenience to exit TSW2 and type in DX11 in the launch options. (Although the stuttering issue is solved, so thanks for that)

    Probably not. As DX12 is not officially supported right now. Once DTG do officially support it, then it would likely be fixed.

    There is nothing to fix. Dx12 is not supported. So no reason to blame Dtg. It may come with core update later this year officially, but nothing announced there. So, please before reporting issues, make sure to turn off all unsupported settings and mods. It causes confusion and you may blame DTg for things they are not responsible for. I think Dtg has enough problems without this.

    The video was recorded with DX11 so I got similar results with both DX11 and DX12. The key point is to be able to get stable fps. Using 60Hz in your monitor helps a lot, as the higher the refresh rate the more difficult for game to maintain a constant FPS value in the whole route. 60 FPS is easier to achieve. There´s a topic in this forum about that stuttering issue. Did you try those settings?

    DX11 does solve the stuttering problem, but I get about 10 fps less. Turning off Vsync and lower refresh rate does lower the stuttering, but it's still there.

    Turn off texture streaming in your engine.ini settings. This seems to stop most, if not all stuttering for me. Texture streaming loads everything in the highest level of detail, rather then loading it in as you get closer to it, so everything is already loaded however you'll receive longer loading times and an initial hang as a drawback when you first load the route.

    r.TextureStreaming=0

    I already did. I actually turned it on to try to fix the stuttering but to no avail.
