158, one of the very first trains I ever boarded and one of the main trains I look for when train spotting

Since my absolute favorite among the trains is already in development (DB BR 232), I choose the DMU DB BR 642 Siemens Desiro Classic 642-633-2642-133-3-mit-zug-520977.jpg

I’d like to see the Swiss Crocodile. There is one parked at the end of my road on the site of the Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon where they used to be built.

This is a hard question to answer... I have a lot of trains I want to see in TSW, lots and lots!

I decided to pick something that hasn't been done, tilting trains! And there's no better place to start than with the BR Class 370, otherwise known as the APT-P :)

To accommodate this unit, TSW would need an 80s version of the WCML ideally near 100 miles long because of the 155mph speeds it would achieve using the C-APT system. There's also a lack of Intercity liveries in TSW and as nice as BR blue is, I personally think it needs to take a back seat for a bit.

Would have to be a Class 91, I think it’s quite probable one will come to TSW at some point

I would love to see the OBB Railjet, hauled by the Taurus (DB BR 182) WITH a cab car. Top speed: 230 kmh :) Railjet.jpg

For something that will never make it to TSW2, The Maharaja express would be a pleasure to haul.

    Maharaja express.jpg

There's something so special about being able to haul a 7 star hotel on wheels :)

    (oops, that's more than one)

I wouldn't be surprised if the license costs more than what DTG earns in money per month

Class 142 Pacer (specifically Northern Spirit refurbs). Unfortunately, there's no appropriate routes for it yet.

A bit hard to say, but I love this one. It is quite old and in real life no longer operational. Normally you can see it in the Dutch National Railway Museum in Utrecht. For some time it was parked here in Boekelo at the site of an awesome Dutch railway museum line.

Yup, I had to check it up. Under EU law it is copyrighted by the museum and sharing/using etc for commercial use without consent is not permitted. Thou I doubt that the museum minds it being used in forums and shared around. I might be wrong thou.

It's not commercial use. Rudolf isn't using it to advertise something, nor are they a company. I think their use of the image comes under Editorial use.

I am a bit confused. Is this a photo from the museum's site, or is it a photo which Rudolf took at the museum?

Nice, hopefully DTG can make another Canadian route but this time with heavy freight locos like this one instead of switchers.

That is the standard SD70ACe, the one that they show has actually been scrapped after being wrecked in the Chatsworth Train Crash.
    47c66f0ebbf881c28526698ca97cae8c.jpg

The Tier 4 SD70ACe's look a lot different from the earlier SD70ACe's.

Thank you for telling me about it since most American Railway magazines focus more on the Tier 4 Version which is the 3000 series Union Pacific.
