Hello, while playing the route Arizona Divided: Winslow - Williams, I got in mind what it can be added has a separate dlc the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe EMD GP9 on yellow bonnet livery, Santa Fe kodachrome livery and for last livery the Zebra Stripe has a good hauler (food, machine part and other) or has a coal hauler and the possibility has helper unit of intermodal train and grain hauler, I mean both for Dash8-40CW, EMD F45 and EMD SD40, or just a transport train formed by EMD GP9 in the three livery for both quick drive and mission. I will like to see this in the game, without Santa Fe logo and Write for Europe, I mean that it would selled both world wide for European customer and US customer. Note: The second one is the Kodachrome livery instead of havin SP write it would have SF.
We already have a blue SF GP9 available in this pack here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/208371/Train_Simulator_GP9_Loco_AddOn/ There are probably reskins for the various GP9's out there for TS that put them into the other two liveries you're suggesting. Also, for your own sake, please don't bump your threads, that'll get 'em locked.
But the Santa Fe GP9 isn't selled worldwide, so I don't have it, that's why I think better do a new one worldwide.
Since the ATSF Arizona route is set in the early 1990s, I think that the GP9 is a bit old. It would be useful for light switching. Perhaps we could get a chopped-nose version with a few upgrades to make it more appropriate for the route. I would suggest a GP50, GP60, GP20, GP30, GP35, or GP39-2 instead of the GP9.
Like I said, there are other GP9's available for TS, so there are most likely reskins available for those. It doesn't hurt to go looking for one.
Funny you bring this up. The exact train in your first picture is pictured on page four of the manual for the GP9 Loco add-on. It's not available through the Steam page, which itself can be viewed internationally (just not purchased). But I did grab the manual elsewhere, and I upload here for review. Oh, and the Chicago Switching Yard doesn't come with it now. There is an old package on SteamDB that shows it in the Railworks 2 version of the package. The current package does not include it.
We already have a GP9 dlc that sports two ATSF liveries. Now the Zebra and SPSF Livery, no they don't sport those. But maybe DTG will add an ATSF Retro Pack with GP9s, GP38-2s, SD45s, SD40-2s, SD40s, and some other old school ATSF Stuff along with an SPSF Retro Pack that adds SPSF SD45s, GP9s, GP38-2s, GP40-2s, SD40-2s, SD40T-2s, SD45-2s, SD45T-2s, and so on.
The ATSF retro pack would be amazing. I'd like to add the FM H-12-44, H-16-44, GP7, GP20, GP40X, GP38/GP8-2, GP39-2, SD39, Alco RSD15 "Alligator" and SD24 to the list.
Yes. Absolutely. Plus a GP50, GP60, SD60, U28CG, U30CG, FP45, S-2, SW1500, SW10, SW9, SW7, GP40-2, and even an GP60M with a GP60M B unit to accompany it. Also a C30-7 in Bluebonnet and Kodachrome liveries would be excellent as well. Additionally, A GP9 in Warbonnet and Kodachrome livery would be absolutely amazing. Some rollingstock and cabooses (besides the ATSF rollingstock pack) would be nice as well.
GP60, GP60B and GP60M are available from a chap in the US, Ian Allen known as “eye in 12”. There is a FM 16-44 in advanced development and it looks great but the Alco RSD15 is real wishful thinking as apart from the S2, RS1 and RS3 Alcos are like hens teeth, sadly. You need to add the CF7, a chop nose rebuild of the F units and an SF stalwart.
GP60M and GP60B aren't available any longer as far as I know. And I know there's already a GP60 dlc, but that's Norfolk Southern. We're talking about Santa Fe, not Norfolk Southern here.
The GP60M and GP60B are still available on the Eyein12 website and the GP60 is also available but I can't remember if it is a repaint (RWA).
