You have to cut-out the brakes in the trailing unit, but the tutorial never tells you this (just kinda had a feeling based on how MU setups work on US trains).

Oddly, the ABBA formation is setup correctly in the only service I've played so it's a somewhat baffling bug for it not to be right in the tutorial most players will encounter first.

How do you even cut the brakes out? I can't even get moving in TT mode as they won't release!

Figured out that you need to move the Rotair from Freight Lap to Freight to get them to full release. Another thing not covered in the Tutorial, if you can call it that.

There's a control near the brake handle that you can toggle- it's very similar to the cut-off valve on any other EMD loco (GP38-2, etc).

They do actually cover it in the tutorial but it goes by very quickly. My basic MU setup (which worked on the one TT service i've run so far):

    Lead unit ONLY:
    Rotair- set to Freight
    Brake valve- set to cut-in
Generator field, control and fuel pump, engine run- set to on
Unit number- set to correct # for how many locos you have on that service (e.g. 4 for an ABBA setup)

    ALL trailing A units:
    Rotair- set to Freight Lap
    Brake valve- set to cut-out
Generator field, control and fuel pump, engine run- set to off

Nope no problems and thanks to a vintage Santa Fe railroad film I have almost mastered the brakes (excluding dynamic)
