Engine Room Access

    I think they need to add access to Engine rooms because what is the point of having Engine room lights if you can't go in the Engine room

    This was done on some early CSX Heavy Haul locos. I think it impacts on development time and possibly a performance drag too?

    If DTG ever adds the Genesis they will have to make the loco's engine room accessible as that is where the actual locomotives would be started from.

    It is also where the F7s and SD40s would be started from but did they model that? Noooooo, they added a non-existent start/stop panel that also includes a second isolation switch in the F7

    Yes they need to give us the ability to enter the engine room of any loco, where the main way to switch it on is via the engine room. I mean we can already walk inside the engine rooms of the DB BR 143, 155 and the 182, cause that’s the way to get into the drivers cab.

    And part of the engine room of the GE 4/4 is also there
