Does anyone know if the refer cars in this service are weighted? I opened one and they appear empty, however this train should be fully loaded with produce. It seems light from a handling perspective as well, is this an oversight? Anyone have any ideas?
How much does the pause screen tell you the total train weight is? You should be able to calculate the per-car weight from that. (I wouldn't attach much importance to DTG electing not to model cargo inside usually-closed cars -that much more memory and CPU usage, x 40 or 50 cars, would just slow things down even more). In all previous routes, though, a distinction is drawn between empty and loaded freight cars. Remember, too, produce isn't as heavy as, say, machine parts.
Its not only that The cars are empty just as the same reason as you cannot use the toilet in a coach or Multiple Unit Its extra stuff on / in the model to be modeled / rendered. That's come from Dovetail themselves. Regards Hentis
