So, we got a DB BR 182, capable of speeds up to 230 km/h It would be a total waste to not use this. Right? Why haven't we passenger services on HMA/SKA/HRR/RRO and all the other german routes, but have freight services there. Something got mixed up wrong there, please fix this.
You have completely different problems: 1) the dosto-wagons it could pull are only allowed to go 160 km/h 2) Apart from SKA there is no route section that has a higher speed as far as I know So you still would not be able to make use of the 230 km/h power of the 182.
But I don't even have the 160 wagons in service mode except on RT. I'm completely fine with 160 in passenger service, if therte is one..
In fact the BR182 was used for freight traffic by Deutsche Bahn, but not for passenger trains. You can read this in Wikipedia (if you're able to understand German). There's no such detail in the English version, sry.

That's true, of course, the exception to the rule. What I wrote was a more general statement. But everything DTG did with the BR182 is authentic.
I'd also love to drive this train with the whole power and speed him up to 230km/h - in the moment as single locomotive. It's true that the Br 182 was not used for passenger trains, but i have already seen them. There are already repaints for this locomotive to change it into a Br 1016/1116 of the Austrian Railroads (ÖBB) who uses this locomotive for Passenger and Freight services. Maybe there will be sooner or later an Add-On for the line Munich - Salzburg with IC trains wich often needs the Br 182/1016/1116 - nowadays as a Railjet. Why not making an Add-On as complete as possible? We know that LZB is useable in TSW2, but not in the Taurus (yet). More Services with the Br 182 would also be very nice...
