Hi. I'm sorry if there's already a thread on this - I did search before creating this one. Basically, after completing Snow and Ice scenario on SPG, I was quickly introduced to the AC4400CW loco. Loved the controls btw, although the controls are going to need getting used to but that aside, the next item was the introduction to the locomotive turntable. After boarding the loco and driving it onto the turntable, I had to go inside the control room and turn the loco round, which I did, finally finding the right place to stop (not as clearly shown as suggested I have to say!), I then had to get back inside and drive it to the next marker. What puzzled me after getting in is that the controls weren't the same - the loco has seemed to switch back to the one I used previously in snow and ice! Did they have one of each loco coupled together with the big AC4400 at one end and the other one (sorry don't recall the designation off-hand) at the other end? I'll be honest I didn't look that closely but that's the only explanation I can think of. :)

Hi Nick. In your intro post you mentioned that you have TSW2. I suspect this question relates to that product rather than TrainSim 2021 perhaps?

I have moved this to the correct section of the forums. It was a simple mistake and an easy fix.

And it's a mistake that'll keep happening for as long as the two products share similar names.

Posting in the wrong forum doesn't hurt anyone, and as opposed to getting uppity it's far better just to point out politely that the post is in the wrong place.

At least it wasn't posted in the fishing section, something that I've seen on a few occasions!

It is irritating when somebody posts in one part and then again in a different part of the TS2021 Forum

    And the signature says
"Playing TSW2 - just in case I accidentally or inadvertently post in the wrong section again"

Which to means he was doing it on purpose.

Out of curiosity how many TS2021 posts does the TSW forum get?

I do have a grand day normally as I don't visit this forum very much even though I do have TSW2

There was no real need for you to reply to my comments but you did
Otherwise my comments would have ended at post #6
But as you decided to butt in to give everyone your opinion on it goes.

I reported this one to be moved but nobody has bothered

You did read my apology above I take it and it won't repeat as I now know what I'm doing. I hadn't realised either that there were so many variants to this game!

Cheers Diff. Glad you like it. When I was about 6 or 7, my father bought my brother and I a train set. Mallard was one of our locos and I loved her ever since. :)

Doing it on purpose? As John McEnroe would have said in his heyday ... you can NOT be serious?! Of course it wasn't on purpose. It was after posting the 2nd time and I found out how to do a tagline, that's all it meant! :(

I can tell which forum I'm on by the background picture - also just underneath where I'm posting this is

Thank you. Yes I'm aware of that now. I'm being as careful as I can be now so you shouldn't see it again.

Intelligent people are capable of far more mistakes than stupid people can imagine.

And yes the background picture is a ghastly mess that only a marketing department could love.

As with most forums, signature lines update immediately and are backdated so that anything the member has posted in the past also have that signature... ;)
