Hello, I was driving the ICE 3 from Köln to Aachen, I had all the safety systems turned on and went at 100 % acceleration on purpose to get an emergency brake from either PZB or LZB, yet in the end went like 3.5 times faster than I should, the only thing I had to do was acknowledging PZB and Sifa. The game ended at Aachen where I derailed at the 40 km/h section. Sorry, it was a stupid idea, I just want to point out that something does not work properly.
I think the OP was expecting a PZB warning (which would have been ignored to trigger automatic braking), but did not receive anything. The OP's inference is that PZB did not work as expected, which leads to the question 'why not?'.
I'm sure I got some emergency brake applications last time a made some mistakes in the ICE3 on SKA (IIRC I missed the LZB Ende and didn't acknowledge a 40 warning), I'll try this run tomorrow and see what happens. Just to make sure, what you did was just set the train up (panto and mcb), activated PZB, LZB and SIFA and then just went reverser forward and 100% throttle all the was from Köln to Aachen, and the only thing you did was resetting SIFA? In theory you shouldn't even be able to go past 40 km/h
I think the point with this thread is, that the train wasn't stopped sooner (but you all know it and I fall asleep...) PS If no magnet is active, what is preventing the train from speeding? An interesting thread! I am very curious about the result \o/
Well they are boring, as expect I got the brake applications I was expecting, both under PZB and LZB Not releasing from PZB LZB 1 LZB2 Xbox Series X
