I read in the article about Cane Creek where they said 'Cane Creek also brings Union Pacific to Train Sim World 2 for the first time.' If I'm not mistaken, Peninsula Corridor ALREADY HAS A GP38-2 IN UNION PACIFIC LIVERY!

Is it a lack of coordination between different teams? I doubt that considering PC and CC are made by the exact same team! If any DTG mod sees this, I should like to know what is the cause of this ignorance.

I may be overreacting but we must expose DTG for being lazy once and for all.

also please can you reduce the price on the routes. £24.99 is far too much for a single route and you have no excuses because TSW 2 costs exactly the same.

So - Cane Creek is being made by Skyhook games, not dovetail, so a third party and not the same team.

Secondly, Peninsula Corridor was a TSW release ported to TSW 2 - so again, technically this is the first TSW2 route to have Union Pacific in it.

As such technically their statement is correct.

I do agree - it could be worded better though...

They know UP is in TSW but it was brought over via the Preserved Collection. It just makes it look better when they say “for the first time to TSW 2”.

There are so many compelling arguments to this headline, but I open the thread and it's complaining about...THIS? seriously?

Peninsula Corridor was mainly a Caltrain route and not Union Pacific, while yes they were there with a GP38-2, It really wasn't the main focus of the route (Not to mention their services are pretty watered down compared to TS21 and in real life)

Cane Creek is the 1st route where Union Pacific is the primary operator on the line.

It can’t be me because I’m forgetful and stupid both at the same time. I also don’t work for Dovetail or Skyhook. Who am I again? Why am I here?
Ah, it’s neither forgetful or stupid. It was lazy all along. Now I remember who I am and why I’m here. It was to ask if you just forgot what you called the topic or was it another reason?

After telling DTG they are very forgetful, just plain stupid, lack coordination, and are ignorant and lazy, you ask for a discount on their products. Good luck with that.

It's intended to mean that this is the first Union Pacific themed product, rather than a single loco added on for a little variety onto a predominantly caltrain passenger product.

This is your first post and you're already angry, shouting and using unpleasant language. Do you mean to continue this tone on the forum or did you just miss breakfast this morning? And it's all because of a little semantics? I don't even understand the bit about pricing.

When I see “stupid” or “lazy” in a subject, I usually just skip that post and read the responses, pretty good entertainment usually :)

If you're thinking about buying more than one route that you like but don't like the price, then you can always wait for a sale. You don't have to buy the routes at this minute..

The gist of the original post seems to be:

    You’re Stupid!

    You’re lazy!

Oh, and pretty please, can I have a discount?

    Yeah, right.

I dont know, there are some older people who do act like jerks online as well, an age limit wont solve anything.

We really are an entitled generation.
    Expecting perfection at cut prices.
Yes there are times when Dovetail’s choices and compromises annoy me, but I’m grateful for them trying.
They’ll just have to settle for pleasing some of the people some of the time.

But then please introduce a Maximum age also, because old people dont know what the interent is
(I know stupid argument, but it is one in general)

Okay back to the topic, which is just plain stupid and not DTG. Ohhh noo, they forgot that UP is already in the game. So now they can send Skyhook the PC UP Loco over and call it a day, why do you need eventually improved versions of something If its already there. Complaining about Bugs or Ballast is fine, but why is this Something that bothers people so much. You could have said, hey DTG, you called Cane creek the First UP Route, but UP is already on PC :) . But instead you said +++BREAKING DTG HAS DEMETIA, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THEM TO GO BANKRUPT LIES LIES LIES+++
    The nerves of some people.

A subject so poorly presented and with a catch worthy of a gentleman !!!
Matt was still nice to respond, thanks to him.
Lower prices, lower prices... I say no if the quality of the content decreases. Personally, conversely, I would even be close to paying more to have richer and longer content. But DTG has been creating tools to make lines longer and stay at the same price since 3 years on TSW, while introducing new features (by updating the old DLCs, they weren't obligated and it costs time and money).
