On PS4 the timetable states there are 181 services available for the Long Island Rail Road, however, when I click on the M3 or M7 there are only 28 services for each train. All the services are the ones to and from Ronkonkoma and New York Penn. This has been an issue for a long time now.
Did you go to change the livery? Under that category you can choose different train sizes, which gives you access to more services.
Never knew this was the case, thought it was livery only not train length as well, is this the only route that does this? Thanks for the solution.
No there are other routes that do this as well. I can't remember which ones off the top of my head. Sometimes it's different livery but occasionally there is different lengths of trains. As far as I am aware, there is no easy way of finding which train has what length apart from manually checking.
For LiRR, when you click on either M7 or M3, a new selection comes up. These are the consist lengths and on LiRR, it states which is which. SouthEast and I believe East Coast way have his as well but doesn't state which one is which. IIRC, the left is long consist, the right is short consist. Someone please correct of I'm wrong.
This is also the case for the DB185.2 on MSB. In the standard livery that loco only has something like 88 services available. If you change livery to the Railion livery, it has something like 193 services. DTG should find a way to mark this more clearly in the game
