As the title says, does anyone else find that the wheel flange noises of the 465 is way too loud? Compared to other trains, at the same volume level, the 465 is almost ear piercingly loud with the flange. I have to constantly adjust my volume because the flange sounds constantly overrides all other sounds. Something tells me that the volume level hasn’t been set up correctly. I also think it sounds way too frequently. Though I’m not sure if this is linked to the train or route. It seems that on almost every bend the flange has to sound. The flange sound also isn’t the best, as it’s re-used sounds from the 377. The worst thing is that it doesn’t even fade out naturally. It just abruptly cuts out once you’re on a straight piece of track. So you can go from flange overload to absolutely nothing in a split second. I’m intrigued to see what you think of the 465 flange sounds?
I find it perfect, and if I have a complaint it is that in most trains this characteristic sound is almost non-existent and it seems that they have rubber tyres instead of iron wheels. With the 465 I get the feeling of driving a train thanks to these wonderful sounds.
I think that's normal. On many older trains, this Flagge Sounds is extremely loud. I like that because it makes me feel like the train is old
