I have logged a ticket regarding the CRR rolling stock not spawning custom liveries and have mentioned also that locos are not affected only the rolling stock. May I suggest others do the same to try and highlight the issue.
Speaking of livery issues can somebody do a ticket for class 101 liveries not showing up on scenario planner
sometimes you gotta rough'm up a little. and you thought CRR was dirty... you know hyperton USUALLY keeps things rather clean but this one seems to have been neglected after work in the coal mines History of 944: 944 was part of Hyperton's original rebuild of F7s into F8s and later F8-2s. Completed in 1994, 944 was assigned to Hyperton's westermost coal district, on the border of MTR territory. this livery depicts it as it was after working many long days at the Ontiore Coal Mine alongside MTR F9B units 3210-21 and 3250-21 and MTR F40fAC 7221 (MTR had several F40s rebuilt for freight operations on AC power), where it was assigned. sometimes it worked alongside Ontiore's electric engines, which ran off of a pantograph and were used to haul coal cars from where they were loaded, deep in the mines. 7221 suffered a derailment accident in 2001, the beginning of a stream of accidents which lead to Ontiore's demise in 2003, the worst one of which unfortunately snagged 944's original B unit, when a GP40 pulling 4 coal cars suddenly derailed and toppled over during an event, burying spectators in coal and resulting in 6 dead and 17 others critically injured, many have breathing problems to this day. GP40 exploded after rolling down the hill and hitting a rock square on with it's fuel tank, the explosion destroyed a bridge on which 3 B units had been sitting, which fell into a river and were never recovered.. The engineer managed to escape before the train went down, and his partner, who had been standing on the walkway of the short hood, merely jumped off when the train started to fall. after investigations shut the mine down for good, Hyperton bought it and then bought MTR a few years later. when the remakes of the F8s began, 944 was the 3rd engine in the shop. it was given an entirely new cab as the original one had suffered tree damage, and it's HEP generator that had been added in 2000 was removed as Hyperton had gained other passenger locomotives. it was then assigned mainline freight duties in Wisconsin and has been there ever since, although recently has been switched to shunting as the other shunting locomotives have been switched to other yards where these kinds of locomotives are thin
this is getting rediculous... I have spawned in 18 times and every single time there have been no CRR liveries, only hyperton ones...
Planning two variants, a TEE version in red and a pre-TEE version in blue. (Legendary as it is, the blue postwar Rheingold only existed for three years, 1962-65)
I'm bored with not having preserved collection items to paint...it's been years get off your butts dtg and provide us with what was promised.
Scenario Designer....... I create a basic service from A to B and then use whichever item I want to check in the game to see what they look like compared to in Livery Designer.
Belgian EuroCity (EC) on the German route. Car from the NGBE of the Euro company pulled by the DB BR 101 114-7, on the route from Achen to Cologne 1st Class 2nd Class complete train
Too right. also it’s a bit suspicious that the M7 and M3s livery designer compatibility has been on the roadmap for ages, but then we just get the baby bullet in livery designer out of no-where
I'm assuming its not easy for DTG to convert the Preserved locos to work with the livery designer, as they were not designed to be used with it in the 1st place.....
it's not just me, the CRR units have no snow textures other than on the snowplows right? if so WHY??????????
And the red one is done! Next comes the blue (without all the TEE stuff, I'll have room for full DSG panoply)
Finally made a "normal" Hyperton livery instead of just throwing stuff around all the time. Next should be HTRX F7 but in Shunt Yellow. (G1)
I'm thinking of making this available as Mod. It's the 'oldschool' SBB livery in grey. Anyone interested?
They acquired a quartet of them in 2006 for their OCS trains, they were rebuilt with GP38-2 standards, and ran up until 2019, when Norfolk Southern Sold them at auction, being recently replaced by a pair of SD60E's that just got re-geared for passenger service a few days ago. 2 are now at the Reading and Northern, the other 2 to the Aberdeen, Carolina and Western Railway.
You can download this mod here: https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/entry/7003-sbb-personenwagen-grau-1-2-klasse/
I am really starting to love what those DB designers did back in the day. There's no school like old school.
You said it. still trying to figure out how to make a horse for the Norfolk Southern EMD F-7 I am trying to do.
Another series 101 repainted on advertising. This time the 101 100-6. Unfortunately there is very little level in the paint editor. In order to paint them completely like the original, a good 200 more layers are still missing. Nevertheless you can see the result clearly. The lettering is missing on the front side in the red field because there is too little level among other things. The orginial Pictures: In TSW2
BR 406 'Rheingold" now available on Train Sim Community https://mods.trainsimcommunity.com/...an-fictional/i960-br-406-rheingold-1960s-blue (The red TEE variant still needs a few tweaks)
