Hi. Is it just me, or are there multiple issues with the Doncaster - Newark Freight career scenario on the new York - Peterborough ECML route?

You are brought to a stand by a red signal D275, then 66 190, the Decoy Pilot, eventually comes out of a converging route, leaving behind a rake of wagons, and disappearing into the distance light engine. Unfortunately the wagons it left are in the way of the route you need to take to the yard to pick up your own train! No need to worry, though, as you can drive your loco straight through these wagons as if they were not there! A true ghost train -very eerie!

All is not well, though, as the Decoy Pilot in the meantime has gone down the line and stopped just beyond signal D283, thus blocking the route completely and seemingly for ever. It is therefore impossible to complete the scenario. Is it just me???? I have some spooky screenshots if needed...

I would like to see the pictures as I had no issues with this scenario.

Yes, strange. Do you remember seeing the Decoy Pilot loco going up the line, or being stopped at that signal for ages before being granted permission to proceed?

Nope I changed the switch right away as I was approaching and pressed tab for approval and continued without stopping.

Thanks for your replies, Michael. I have tried again, and it worked OK this time. The only difference was that I was a bit quicker getting to the red signal and changing the points. I guess this stopped the Decoy Pilot from moving out first. Weird about the ghost wagons, though. They did not appear this time either.

That definitely one for the books, and you're welcome for the pointer.

I’m having similar issues with this scenario, I’ve been brought to stop at signal D275 to make way for the train merging from the left and travelling into the distance yet I’m left standing at the signal, the scenario doesn’t even allow me to ask for permission to proceed?
