If you are playing on console pressing the right joystick will give you a free external camera. Console players can change the camera angle moving the two joysticks, and on Steam the direction keys and mouse will achieve the same results. Should add another rule, has to be a landmark that appears in all versions that wins it. (I'm looking at you Wembley and the Shard) ;-)
Agreed. Couldn't have the cab interiors subject as "X" button used for Fanshots is overridden by brake type switching command. And whilst there is an alternative method of obtaining screen captures this isn't necessarily possible for some players. However there is no workaround for console players with regard to Wembley Stadium and The Shard.

On a typical foggy morning in the bay area, a southbound Caltrain train makes its way into Santa Clara, while a Union Pacific aggregate train heads north, both passing by the preserved Santa Clara interlocking tower. The Santa Clara tower was built in 1926 by the Southern Pacific Railroad and was put into service a year later, it covered the norther end of the now defunct Santa Clara yard as well as controlling the 2 mainlines that meet here, the Peninsula Line to San Francisco, and the Mulford Line to Oakland. The tower was in use till 1993, when the controls of the switches and signals were moved to a control center at the San Jose Depot. The South Bay Historical Railroad Society has preserved the tower as well as the nearby Santa Clara depot, and 2 MOW buildings. Route: Peninsula Corridor Locomotives: EMD F40PH-2CAT, EMD GP38-2
An eastbound stack train lead by CSX C40-8W #7848 passes by the pair of restored Chessie System Cabooses in Hyndman, Pennsylvania, in the afternoon. The pair of cabooses are owned by Donald Stewart, who 1st acquired the cupola caboose #903556, in 1990 from CSX. He later moved it to its current place a month later. Don leased the land where they currently sit from CSX, which was originally an interchange track for the B&O with a now abandoned Pennsy Line. He later acquired the bay window caboose, #904115, 2 years later which CSX retired due to damage from a wreck. Both cars have been restored shortly after their purchase, though recent photos show both cars getting a new coat of paint around 2016. Route: Sand Patch Grade Locomotives: GE C40-8W, EMD SD40-2
