Currently I play TSW fairly infrequently, perhaps once a week, and it seems that every time I run the game that I have to enter my credentials. Please, is it so hard to remember my login?
Yeah I play it every evening and it trends to ask for my log-in every couple days, there should really be an option to just tick a box and have it remember your email and password, or even just have it auto-sign in like other services do.
We've been asking for ages for this to get sorted, we had one response of something along the lines of "will look into it", not heard anything since, the silence tells it's own story on this one I'm afraid, it's been filed under "F" for forget.
Just skip it and ask not to be reminded next time. I did and it went away and didn't come back, at least so far. I didn't see any advantage to signing in. Is there one?
Try resetting your password on the website and logging in again with the new password on both web and in-game, see if that helps. (this isn't an entirely random suggestion ).

I don't know what you do with your TSW but I've never had such a problem. I did it once a few months ago and never again since
It seems that if you sign in to Dovetail Live on the website on any device, it then logs you out on the game and need to sign in again. It is based on the cookies that either expire or 'renewed'. It should be less depending on those or specific ones for the game and website. Resetting the password should never be necessary.
Occurrence does seem random, but more likely if you haven't played the game for a few days or weeks. I'm guessing the only issue with not being signed in, is that your Mastery achievements might not get updated, if that matters to you. Then again it should be stored locally and updated when you do decide to join in. Would certainly help if the log in screen remembered your details once you click the respective fields, though.
No you shouldn't need to - what im suggesting is a workaround and to feed back if that works. I am not familiar with the inner workings of DTL and all I know is this was suggested to me as a means to get going. I'll point the DTL team lead at this thread so he can advise on any other course of action to take. Matt.
Thanks for your tip, unfortunately it is not working for me. What I know it happens in most case a day after DTG posts a new news article. It is my number two annoyance, so I really appreciate it to get fixed. The number one is the strange behaviour of the HUD with respect to driving direction and loco orientation.
Yep was talking to the Head of Dovetail Live just yesterday on this one in fact so I know it's on his mind. HUD is also on our list as well Matt.
