Wikipedia Article The Bergensbana connects Oslo and Bergen, the two biggest cities in Norway. Since the entire line is too long I chose the section between Bergen and Voss for this suggestion. The route mostly travels along rivers, fjords and the fjell and features some pretty amazing landscape. Due to a low average speed and only a single track, a journey from Bergen to Voss takes around an hour. Quick Facts: Length: 85,9km Max. This would be awesome - Norwegian routes are easily in my top 5 in terms of scenery, plus I have a soft spot for the country itself. And then you also have beauties like:
It's not the biggest deal - but for this route they really should update their sky system and let us see northern lights!!
I've always really liked the peculiar look of the EL 16 and EL 17, and I would really love to see them. The type 73-A also looks quite unique, and I'd like to see that one in game too. Combine the interesting locos and EMUs with great scenery, and you've got a great route! Nice suggestion!
DTG need to add this route. Bergen Line is one of the best railway in the world and not add it would be very bad. This is what we should have to "touristic routes" category with Arosa Linie and others. Plus, TSW needs to represent more countries like Norway.
Just bear in mind after what was said in the latest stream, it seems highly unlikely this route is going to get built in the foreseeable future.
