Wow! Two-thirds are 34 and under which is positive for the hobby. Does explain when anything pre-war* is frowned upon so negatively by the audience though! *For war read Falklands
Exactly correct I only play it on a PS4 not a PC or Xbox. It would be nice if people answered truthy and not just vote any old how. It would seem at least one other over 60 uses a PS4. So I am not alone (whoever you are
If someone’s age ends in a zero they can choose one of two options, skewing the results one way or another depending on how old they feel. This does not apply to those aged 0 or 100, one of whom will not know what they are clicking and the other will not know what they are clicking.
I've a feeling that the results for PC might be skewed towards an older population. Actually, I don't think I've ever given my age to DTG, I wonder how many others haven't?
I’m 60 but inside I’m 30! Honest guv. My age is a clue as to why I prefer the British Rail routes and locomotives. Gotta be honest it’s a nostalgia trip. All you young uns will be doing the same when you get to my age.
36 and a big fan of TSW. Unlike many "purists" I prefer the game to TS Classic! Less hassle and I like the gameplay!
67 Been a gamer for 40 years. I enjoy TSW but want a PS5 for smoother operation. I also have an Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PS3. The Series S would run it smother, but I have a lot invested in routes and such on the PS4.
Me too. But US PC brigade are the last of the few! Actually I think we are better off from what I've seen of Console specs XD I was always led to believe Console was better. I'm glad I was stubborn and stuck with PC XD
A 56 year old PC and occasional PS5 player, although use of the latter will likely increase post Rush Hour core update, when we will no longer have to suffer TSW's PS4 graphic settings. Looking further forward I may end up playing on console only, as post retirement I will not be able to afford the expensive biennial PC upgrades which I currently enjoy. When you think for the price of a new PC processor on its own you can get a whole next-gen console it puts things into perspective! I am hoping DTG will set the PS5 graphics settings on parity with PC at 4K, although checkerboard rendering or dynamic resolution may be necessary. What I don't want to see is them skimping on LOD settings, texture quality, or service mode layers like for previous-gen.
Good to see us oldies in body, are in good health and still young in mind. PC seems to get lots more going on for it, but I gave up building my own gaming PC and went for consoles some years ago. Though I have a Gaming spec laptop, it does not get used for gaming as such. 64 next birthday.
im 68 and cant wait to get my hands on a PS 5 but as we know they are very rare, had one on order for over a year.
That's way of the world, when you're young there's the wish to be older, but all too soon that will change. XD Oh, in case someone is curious, I voted but I won't go into details. Let's just say that more than 80% here are younger
Im a Die hard PC fan (of computer type). Not the other! One of my younger friends was saying how good his xbox was compared to pc, and I started to wonder should I get one? Then I came into a win fall from a death in the family so thought il use this to build and epic pc. Which I Did and I'm happy with 2 years on. and as yet don't feel I need to update. And from what I've seen of consoles I'm glad I stuck with what I knew.
Im on the fence! But recently have moved toward TSW due to its interactivness. TS Classic is good for variety. But I find myself wanting to mod the routes I TS classic to fit my era! so spend very little time playing on it Ive found myself being addicted to getting steam achievement's for TSW.
