hi im a xbox player i just what to know why do xbox player have to pay to upgrade and playstation players dont have to i have all the trans DLCs so you tellin me i have a buy all my dlc over when i get my new xbox right thats not far
you DO NOT need to pay again. I had an xbox one with most DLC. When I bought my Xbox Series S the content was linked to my account so I just installed it. No need to pay again. Jack
You absolutely don't have to buy them again. I recently got a Series X and everything transferred over seamlessly.
Curious to know where you got this info? Because as other have already pointed out, you dont have to re-buy anything when upgrading your Xbox
You will get a free update with Rush Hour improvements/branding to the core game. You will have to pay for the new Rush Hour edition of TSW2 on the store containing routes you may or may not already own. You will be able to play Series X edition without paying for content you already own on Xbox One. I think that will be how it goes.
The base game will be upgraded for free, with new features, engine upgrade etc. The only thing that will be paid is Rush Hour, which is essentially a DLC for the base game, only this time it's three routes in one. And that will be paid on all platforms. If you own any content on Xbox, you can use them on both Xbox One and Series X|S consoles without having to pay for them again. Also, whichever DLC you already own in Train Sim World 2020, you can automatically download them for Train Sim World 2 as well (the only exception is the NEC route which was not upgraded for the current game).
No. You'll be able to buy the Rush Hour DLC on Xbox One as well. The game is cross-compatible between generations, it doesn't matter which Xbox you play on.
You don't have to manually transfer any saves. They're synced in the cloud. When you log in to your profile on the new console, download the game and start it, it will automatically download the save file from the cloud and you're good to go.
I saved all my save games and dlc on a external hard drive on my xbox one. I got a series x last week. Just unplugged the hard drive, plugged it in series x and all was sweet. No issues at all
So basically , when you get a new Xbox , you sign in to your account , then the Xbox will download the optimised version of the game , and then all your old stuff is there ? That’s what it sounds like to me
if you have seen the faq. It does say that they support Xbox smart delivery so xbox players can upgrade at no additional cost.
It’s a bit like iTunes. Just because you get a new iPhone it doesn’t mean you have to buy all of your music again.
