In the S Bahn Rhein Main route, there’s a 30 km length of track from Frankfurt Süd to what seems to be Darmstadt Hbf. Moreover, it seems that station labels were put down up to Louisa on that line for some reason. The line between Stressmannallee and Darmstadt(?) has no scenery at all - only accurate track placement. What’s the reason for this? Is the developer of the route planning to extend the S3 and S4 from Stressmannallee to Darmstadt in the future?
I think when the route was constructed the Authors had the idea it would also extend south but maybe time constrains stopped the work. I doubt it would be extended but you could ask Just Trains as they released the route - not DTG
I’ll try to ask JT but the problem is that they only published the route and they didnt make it so I’m weary if they’ll know the answer.
