I went and had a look at their webcam and live chat tonight, and found them to be pretty rude and dismissive of Non-Americans. Bloody Cheek

 

Well as an American myself, I apologize for their behavior and conduct. Seems the relative anonymity of the interwebs make some people bolder then they should be.

 

Dont worry good buddy I have met many of our bothers from the states, in many walks of life. I think it must be train thing both ways as ive seen negative comments from our guys, against Americans.. On my Part i apologise for negative comments from the UK x

I think that is quite disrespectful. Matt has made no secret that he likes German trains but is also partial to big US equipment and the old style steamers like the logging engines.. You may not be aware that Matt is also married to an American who has done some voice-over work for DTG and well as for other projects.

I can't answer for Sam other than to say what you see is what you get with Sam and he doesn't mince his words at times. Adam is a colourful guy and has a lot of knowledge about railways around the world. Again he can be direct and not suffer fools gladly. .

 

What exactly did you watch? It doesn’t sound like DTG’s Railfan TV to me.

 

No I’m confused as well. I’ve watched nearly all the streams recently and I haven’t noticed this.
I guess we’re talking about something else here?

I don't understand this thread at all. I watch just about every stream and I've never seen or heard anything remotely offensive from the moderators. The Chat? That's a different subject. They could eliminate that aspect of the stream as far as I'm concerned. Maybe that's what this is about?

 

I don't think you need to explain or apologize for those three guys. As far as I'm concerned all three are good natured, well informed and amusing at times. The last Roadmap stream was excellent from all three.

 

I took railfan tv to be the live railcam channel which features various railroad locations in the US. Maybe that’s what Edward is talking about?

To All, Im sorry that I came across wrong. "Steammaster4449" was correct, Its a US version of "railcam Live". I joined in on a chat at a location in the state of Missouri and got treat like I wasn't welcome. Nothing to do with DTG. I never meant to give that impression. La Plata was the local

 

So it wasn’t Railfan TV, it was Virtual Railfan all along.
