I had a small suggestion that I think might add a bit of life to the game and I was wondering if was even possible. To me it seems like a lot of stations, yards and sidings seem empty and lacking life. In order to fix this while not murdering memory what if there were trains or wagons that simply "popped in" when the player was in the vicinity of these locations and would "pop out" as the player left. I feel this might be an easy way to add a variety of trains and wagons to routes that don't need to be on the timetable (as the never actually move) while saving the devs from having to spend forever implementing them. Just a thought and I'm sure there is plenty wrong with this idea haha
And then randomize the cars that are popped up so that way it looks like they have been moved or replaced by a different train.
exactly, just something to add to the visual variety and give the world a feeling that more is going on.
I like this idea too. I've noticed if you have the appropriate loco on a certain map the AI is shunting in the yard as you pass by
Maybe some Cold trains (trains without services) there are plenty in Older routes but newer ones seemingly lack them
I think these should be "static". that's what I was thinking, just something to breath a little more life into the world
No, as there is already one or two that is static on the SPG route. Those static trains can be found during the first 10 or so missions in journey.
