PC Lirr - Ny Pen Platform

Hi I have just driven on the LIRR and got routed to park across a set of points, see attached. with times etc. this feels very odd.

 

Just had the same issue, its on the [413] Port Washington - New York Penn. Then i had to open the doors on the left side, which was the incorrect side for the front of the train.
Also on the [412] New York Penn - Port Washington i had to open the doors on the wrong side at the start in Penn.

 

Same issue. Annoying.

 

One would've thought that updating the route means actually improving the route, man...

 

I've seen a service had the same issue you are describing. It was the 11:00AM service to Port Washington. I was doing a Belmont Park service out of penn station when I saw the train next to me parked through a set of points meaning that one end of the train was on one platform and the other was at the other end. It seems to affect all Port Washington services at penn station. Absolutely ridiculous

 

Had it too with the 412 to Port Washington. submitted a ticket
