Info for people who aren't sure:
The Route without branches is 5 Miles
    With branches it's around ~17.

The busiest station the line is quite obviously Glasgow Central, after all it is Scotland's busiest station.

In real life the term "Cathcart Circle" includes the branches. We still don't know if they will be included.

The Class 314 units underwent a life extending refurbishment, shortly before when GCC is thought to be set.
After Transport Scotland set out the new Scotrail Image & Brand, all but 5 of the Class 314 units became the only remaining units in service wearing the SPT Livery, up until the removal of the units.

I'm hoping they include the branches for this route. Will be disappointed if they don't, but not so much that I'd never consider buying it upon release.

I'll be watching this one, for sure, like how I did with SEHS.

As a question, what other units ran on the line at the time we think GCC will be set? Nice to think about what add-on units we could see from this.

I also have a question about the 314 (and also the 313). One thing I'm always concerned about with trains is how they perform in terms of braking (since stopping in the right place is something I struggle with doing, even on good days). Is the 314 easy to stop?

How much do you bet they’re going to call one of the scenarios for the 313/314 “PEP in your step”?

Have DTG confirmed if the Cathcart Circle will come with the Newton and Neilston branches? Just since that it shouldn’t be long until we see the first screenshots of it

No DTG has been silent. I assumed they’d be included, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re not. If they’re not, I doubt I’ll be buying the route - especially if priced at £24.99.

500 miles is just a really clever gag.
Away day was a given with Hampden Park (not the East Coastway one) being at Mount Florida

In all seriousness is there anyone daft enough to think DTG would not make the full route and only make a teeny tiny bit of it? What has everyone been drinking? Of course it’s going to have the branches as they are an integral part of the route.

After all without branches it's 5 miles.
I've been saying it's most likely to have branches but until it's confirmed I can't really say much, however it's very likely they will appear.
    Guess we will see.

I agree, it's got to have the branches or it'd be an extraordinarily short route with very little variety of game play, so I can't possibly see how the route could be made without them.

If it's only a 5 mile route with 11 stations.....I just hope it is priced accordingly :)

For Glasgow Central, how many platforms does the 314 use in real life, and thus could we see in timetable mode for the specific route(s)?

The 314 used most Scotrail platforms, on the Paisley Canal, Inverclyde, Ayrshire, Cathcart and more Suburban lines in the area.

It’ll be interesting to see if the 314s will be both in the SPT Carmine + Cream and ScotRail ‘Saltire’ liveries. I heavily doubt it’ll be the case but I wonder if they’ve included the revised interior of the ex-507 carriage on 314203?

The SPT Livery has to come I feel, only 5 units got the Saltire.
Also how fun. 3.14 pm Screenshot_20210515_161557.jpg

Well, DTG did promise to bring realistically simulated steam engines to TSW, and now they have managed to honour that promise.

All those worries about handling steam/particle effects have been solved with a bouquet of flowers in the chimney.... what a lovely solution....! ;-)
