Just curious - why would you need to look at the Rivet website, to find this information?

Shouldn't this sort of thing be on DTG's "Roadmap".... ?.

DTG is directly responsible to the customer for all of the content that comes out of Glasgow, because DTG is the company that has the Developer/Publisher agreements with Microsoft and Sony, and the Publisher agreement with Steam.

If you buy DTG-listed content (that happens to be developed in Glasgow rather than Chatham), then any issues with bugs or main game features, etc., all go through DTG, a bit like how all of the payments from customers all go through DTG.

As an aside (and this is probably worth a new thread......)...... I wonder how the Rivet DLCs are treated in terms of "Preservation Crew" bug clean-ups and feature enhancement..... Can we expect any inclusion of things like PIS for DLCs like Arosa Linie...?

Umpteenth time. The roadmap is what DTG are working on...

DTG don't work on Rivet's DLC
Even if DTG have a contractual agreement with Father Christmas to ensure updates are released, that doesn't mean they have an obligation to undertake the PR for those updates

I would have thought DTG must do some work on the DLCs that come out of Glasgow, because only DTG have the physical kit (and arrangements) required to publish them.

I don't think that the Glasgow team have the ability to push out anything at all, without direct intervention from the Chatham team - including bug fixes that interact with a distinct core feature, like Livery Designer.

Also, I would have thought that the guys in Chatham would want to do some sort of QA check on the Glasgow output - so the Chatham team would know when issues have been addressed, because presumably, it is the Chatham team that carries out a final check, you know, just to ensure that nothing creeps in that could completely wreck the main application, or players' profiles and/or save files, etc........?.

But - finally - I would say that the Chatham team seems to be quite happy to "do the PR" for the other teams, because upcoming DLCs (to be released) are listed on the Roadmap, even if they are being made in Glasgow.

So why not include progress on major bug issues on the same Roadmap...? It is just a suggestion.

Nope. they just have to hit a publish button I would imagine
Correct, but that doesn't mean that DTG have to test things before they're put out (same as their own content)
Thinking something doesn't make it come true.
Pre-release, this seems to be the case. I don't remember seeing any post release fixes other than DTG's own DLC on the roadmap

And a valid one, but there's no onus

Oh, okay. That strikes me as being a bit risky.....

Oh, okay. That strikes me as being a bit of very poor communication.....

Thanks - I am just trying to help. But - you know what... I am now thinking of setting up a casino business, with sites in both Chatham and Glasgow, because I reckon I will make a lot of money in those locations, because there seems to be quite an appetite for risk in both of those places.

Happy Days...! I might get to buy that new yacht after all....!

Not really. Unless someone's actually suing DTG for content published by them but made by others there's no risk.
Then again you see a lot of things published by Sony, Apple, Microsoft etc under all sorts of names and nobody's suing them either...

Maybe there's less risk than you believe there is

Oh, and there's already a casino in Medway (not sure about Glasgow) and has been for years.
