Hi all Just having a whirl on this tonight, not done enough of the route to pass decision on it but I am exploring a little. The coaches do niggle me but we know that's not going to change but seriously who is the lazy artist with the cars???? I've driven from Poland, through Germany to France and I'm damn sure they are not all grey. It's these small things that ruin everyone else's hard work when you cant unsee it.
Selecting the differently colored car model from the list must be really tiresome. Obviously spamming the same car is much easier!
Who cares what color the automobiles are? How about the t-r-a-i-n-s??? After several tries, I haven't been able to get past the point in the Route Introduction when I'm instructed to look up, down, left, and right. I'm using the mouse buttons to do this and nearly straining my figurative neck looking around. I can see a walking target in the distance, but can't begin moving toward it until I complete the stretching exercise successfully. Help?!?
Actually if this car park would belong to a company it can actually look exactly like this. Due to those corporate design rules most companies order their cars in black, silver or white here. And since about 75% of all new cars in germany are companies' cars there is not much diversity...
When I did this part I had to have the little cursor on top of the look here objective marker and leave it there. There’s a delay like when you uncouple wagons and wait for objective to update
I can confirm that method. Just STARE at the objective and drift away in an inner void. Suddenly the objective is cleared.
Adding this to the thread, as the headline could might as well be "Hamburg-Lübeck feedback" - please redirect me if there is already another bugs post. Level crossing issue on Claudiusstraße (58.6-58.8) My first two runs on the route, and you have this rather problematic looking barrier: 20210514092108_1 by PBrogaard posted May 14, 2021 at 9:31 AM 20210513230949_1 by PBrogaard posted May 14, 2021 at 9:31 AM
I'm not sure some of the crossings lift either as I thought they were supposed to. I sat near one a while and nothing happened. Back to the grey car investigation. I was running the recovery scenario earlier and taking pics at the stations. As you can see, more grey grey grey. I did stumble across one station with a mix of cars. Made me think did the artist give up with colour after a couple of stations? Really bugs me. I then realised there was no PIS. Am i missing something or is it selective per route what features we're used to get added? I also spotted a station with a grass platform. There was a defined concrete area so I'm left confused whether the station is grass, whether the passengers should even be on that area, is the concrete section long enough for a train etc. ~ I'm going to keep playing as I want to be fair to the good work DTG do but not sure I should have voted with my wallet on this one.
I’m not so worried about their colours, it’s when you see exactly the same train load going in the opposite direction. Makes the whole journey seem pointless.
It does seem a quiet route compared to my below reason for buying it. Maybe I've just not run the right service. Do i need to buy other DLC to unlock layers? I have a few of the German routes...... "actually opened, but once rails were laid, the line quickly became the busiest and most important in Schleswig-Holstein. Today, Deutsche Bahn run regular passenger services along the line, taking commuters and travellers to and from Europe’s 2nd busiest station."
Was the PIS working at the start of the run? I'm having issues where the PIS will stop working mid run. Both on RT and HBL.
I'm not sure on this particular emergency scenario however I poked around the other day and didnt see either.
Yes I got that impression from my first few runs, too. I'll try freight later that day, maybe there will be more happening traffic-wise
I will take grey cars if the route had functional signaling but alas it does not with all 500hz magnets been 1000hz .. i swear no one tests this stuff internally or all there testers run without safety systems thus clearly don't test.
Not really bothered about the colour of cars. Here in Switzerland they are mostly silver or black anyway. I was more bothered by the cars being too colourful in Arosa.
The earlier 101 run to Lubeck was excellent in terms of traffic and adverse signals. It was marred by the 500hz magnet issues - you have to acknowledge them as you would a 1000 hz, but still be aware that a red is 250m away. It could easily become one of my favorite TSW2 runs, especially if I play a bit with being late and learn to drive it HUDless. I would want the issues addressed before I try these things, though. The route looks great and seems to have some excellent service runs interacting with other traffic. We just need the bigs sorted out before we can enjoy all that. Between the 500hz magnet issue here and the LZB Ende issues with the 182, I have had far too many emergency stops in the last few days. This makes driving frustrating rather than relaxing; I look forward to these issues getting fixed promptly.
Sorry to ask a dumb question here, but I bought the BR 101 and Hamburg-Lübeck - can't see the BR 101 services anywhere. Do I really need the Duisburg-Bochum to use the BR 101 anywhere, do you by any chance know? And back to feedback. I can live with the same coloured cars, no problem, but the platform ramps are simply too steep and barriers look rather clumsy. Again, nitpicking detail here, but it looked like a BRIO station even before I checked the pictures.
The grass on Kupfermühle is correct , see: https://www.google.com/maps/place/K...f99ce47f29ba4e4!8m2!3d53.7623985!4d10.3266469
That's a good find, I hadn't had time to look to be honest but that's interesting. I bet that's a health hazard in the rain.
In the New to the Area scenario, the AI forget to change the lights when turning the train. Seems odd, since the destination display changes properly from Hamburg to Lübeck when stopping in Hamburg in the beginning. I just noticed the wrong end lights at Bad Oldesloe.
In TSW2, loco DLCs need their “home route” to render in game. The 101 services on HRR are fun, and I would recommend them. I have run one of the two101 services on HHL and it was excellent except for the magnet issues.
And again, regarding the BR101 (in timetable mode): When I select the loco I can press "Q" and change it to ... a copy of itself!?
I stand corrected on pis. I’ve run some more services and it must have just been the scenario it wasn’t showing on
Thanks for your feedback - the 500Hz/1000Hz magnets issue is known, and we're working on a fix. We've also passed on the LZB Ende feedback too and the team are also aware.
Hmm, with my BR 155 i stand a while in Ahrensburg and note something is wrong with the catenary wire.. does not hinder the gaming experience, but still looks unsightly.
DTG JD this happen Both on the Cab Car and the 112 Loco front on the Snow Scenario. It’s a Texture Bug when it’s Snow. Also the Cab Car lose always the kN power.
The Ampère meter on the 112 (and cab car when they are one train) is only on 0 or max, even you are on notch 1.
But it’s work for some time on the Cab Car, but when the Dashboard has no Blue Energy More and kN is at 0, The Train got no speed anymore and want slower.
What gets me is that apparently was already known pre-release. In the stream, Matt's dev build simply had nonfunctional 500-Hz magnets (commented on by Sam and Matt both): pretty clearly in that particular build they simply switched them off entirely so as not to cause problems.
Driving a train with safety systems on is not included in the usual list of skills that a QA tester has. DTG needs to train them to do that.
This is not specific to this this route. You can see it happen in other DLC (just saw it in GWE yesterday).
